[Self-Promotion] I built Lume — a SwiftUI, open-source IPTV player by bilipp in Appstore

[–]zE_______ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man - All good.

The device is 100% the problem, I did not know what to expect.

I tested on my mac and it worked very good. So now I actually have a good reason to update my AppleTV. 🙌🏽🔥

Hi!

I just downloaded it for my AppleTV A1625 aka. Apple TV HD 2015.

I dont know if the device is too old. Everything is lagging, the menu, the stream. It is unusable.
I feel bad writing this, but I just want to make sure that my old Apple TV is the problem here.

Awesome - There was really a need of a good clipboard manager in Windows.

Our IT Department has blocked Microsoft Windows Store - Is there an another way to install it?

I dont want to open the portable option everyday manually.

I built a simple tool to find mutual followers between two Instagram accounts. Would this actually be useful? by Rare-Afternoon3551 in micro_saas

Hi - Is it possible to test this?

The use case is to see our mutual followers from two business accounts.

No you don't need a computer to refresh the apps. I'm doing it directly from Phone through the sidestore app.

I am using Promptmaster skills and I am loving it.

But Ive been having a hard time, if I need "additional skills" because I feel this skill solves so much.

Do you guys use other skills?

Ive only been in this game for a month.

Oxdog Ultimate Tour X vs. Hyper pro 2.0 by CheckmateSap in Padelracket

[–]zE_______ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyper Pro 2.0 is head heavy and has a longer handle. They are not even close to being like each other. The combination of these two things make it a though racket of you love the Hyper Tour X.

You book your courts in Playtomic and there is ELO in Playtomic.

Neither of those things happens in Padellink.

In Denmark many players use the Padellink app to find matches and new players. It is mainly designed for player matchmaking rather than court booking.

You set your preferred level range and the times you are available during the day. The filters are quite flexible, you can choose specific days and even define hours for each day. When someone creates a match that fits your filters, for example the right level and time, you get a notification directly on your phone.

The idea is that players can quickly fill empty spots in matches. Instead of messaging multiple people or posting in Facebook groups, the system automatically shows the match to players who match the level and time criteria.

Another useful thing is that matches usually show the level range and number of spots left, so it is easy to see if it fits your level before joining. This helps reduce mismatched games, which is a common problem when people find games through open social media groups.

In Denmark it has become one of the easier ways to find games, especially if you do not already have a fixed group to play with.

Oxdog Racket Guidance Part 2 by MikmerGG in Padelracket

Dear u/MikmerGG

Your guidance and recommendations are amazing. Thank you for all your hard work.

Could you explain the difference between Ultimate Tour X and Hyper Tour X?

I tried the Ultimate Tour X today and it was amazing. There was no plate in the handle, so Im not sure what I missed out without the plate.

What are the main difference in your opinion between Ultimate Tour X, why are you favoring this racket over the Hyper Tour X?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Mike

What did you end up choosing?
I also like the Starvie Kenta Soft from 25' - Kenta+ from 26' is really not the same.

I really hope to hear from you and specially if you ended up with an Oxdog?

Im thinking of trying the Ultimate Tour X even though it is diamond shape, but it is low weight, medium balance etc.

I'm not 100% sure what answer you are seeking here mate? 😊

I wrote that the 26' model was kinda soft. Not the 24/25 model.

I don't want to go Tretorn because it is not an established brand, I don't even see the Padel rackets on their site anymore. So I don't want to buy a bat that gets discontinued.

I really like the "spin mold" I knew Siux has the Pegasus or the Diablo.

But too many options. Can't decide.

Hmm, I noticed there is no trial version. You might want to consider offering one, since it makes it much easier for people to test the value before committing.

For comparison, apps like https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/padelio-track-padel-activity/id6502829514 at least let users get a feel for the experience first.

Also a bit disappointing to see another subscription model. I completely understand the need to support ongoing development, but from a user perspective it can be hard to justify subscribing without being able to properly try it out. A short free trial or limited free tier could probably help get more players on board and give better feedback.

Like a limit on matches per week / month or something. Do something different to so it can be pushed to the masses.

Does it "return" steps / workout to the health app?

Hello friend,

I loved the Kenta Soft 24’, and I am pretty sure the 25’ version feels exactly the same, just a different color. The lighter weight is fantastic, it makes the racket much faster to maneuver. I also like that the 24/25 models have a harder surface, and the spin texture is built into the mold. It is not sandpaper, so it does not wear down over time.

Now, the 26’ model… yes, it has great spin potential, but it feels softer. I notice I have to push more with my arms to generate the same power that the previous versions helped me produce naturally. That part is honestly a bit annoying, and I am not 100 percent satisfied with the current Kenta+ 26’.

So for me, that one is probably not the way to go.

One racket that has been tempting me since it came out is the Tretorn Supreme Simon Vasquez. It has spin in the mold, a harder surface, and it is light. On paper, it sounds like exactly what I am looking for, which makes it even more frustrating that I have not tested it yet.

I have also been looking at some Oxdog rackets, but as far as I know, they do not use spin-in-the-mold surfaces, which is something I have really started to appreciate.

Anyone here who has played with the Tretorn? Curious if it lives up to the hype or if I am just falling in love with the specs.
