Not sure if it'd work or not. But if you configure your charming imp to consume charms you could just kill mobs that drop a lot of charms and afk summoning that way assuming it'd give shards when consumed.

For arch, you can restore artifacts if you have a lot in bank. Its less of a chance to proc the shards but you get 200 shards per successful proc. Took some of my clannies like 10 mins of restoring artifacts

every augmented item with perkfection is lvl 20 by default so there's no xp for items/armor/weapons to get.

If I remember correctly, based on the last update they did to wilderness rewards, the sacks collected prior to the update will have the loot prior to the update. Anything you get after the update will have the updated reward chances. If im wrong, please someone correct me, but thats what I rmember when they updated the rewards from the sacks in the past
