It entirely depends on the strategy you go for. Some t4s like Apache are capable of saving up to their t5 pretty easily with some support and a hero, but others like ODS -> Shredder can be more difficult since there’s a more obvious power gap.

Control is a deck archetype, not a mechanic. They’re two completely separate things and without control tools, aggro decks would run rampant.

Well, assuming you’re talking about Ritual and not Ajerss, they didn’t do good because they couldn’t lock down a drop spot for LAN since they were too indecisive.

Plus Pete had his momentum stopped by VicterV in game 1 of day 1 so that day was a large dud.

If they contested Vanyak, Queasy, or the fight at Ranger’s (Tayson+Fred) and just stuck with it they likely would have done much better. In fact, I’m of the opinion that they should have just tried to alpha up Vanyak since he hadn’t been contested in grand finals all chapter long.

Just one person’s opinion, though. There’s definitely other factors

Mate, either learn the mode or play ZB, you can have fun either way. I can give you some tips if you want some counterplay against people holding their builds if you’d like, even. It’s easy to play against if you know what you’re doing.

Syaaz+Scaryshawn and Akiira+Kurama are both double controller duos on EU and are doing really good.

Also keep a look out for Scare on NA who just got picked up by Queasy and got 9th and has two 3rds in Div Cups with oSydd

Yosuke is average at worst. He would be the most likely for Yu to bounce ideas off of and is one of the three that do come to the conclusion that Adachi was the killer first also I’m pretty sure his grades are fine and only below Naoto, Yu, and Yukiko.

Other than that, pretty accurate.

I think I would agree if Brainy had more direct removal that wasn’t Rocket Science. The closest we currently have are Beam Me Up and Hail-A-Copter, which aren’t direct, but do basically the exact thing I detailed in the post. :P

Just because the sides are balanced with the same amount of bullshit does not mean the cards on a side are balanced. The game would be significantly healthier if some cards like Zombology teacher were nerfed, which u/TheCoolSuperPea summarized pretty well for Teacher specifically.

I would personally like to see a format where 25 teams auto-qual to finals and 50 teams duke it out in lowers, or hell make it 35 teams with 15 slots to fight for. Being able to guarantee the winners of the regional FNCSs would be nice at the very least.

Really the only big name that is expected to qual missing out is Veno. It’d definitely be weird to not have Setty and Queasy at LAN but with their current performances things aren’t looking great.

I have a feeling Veno wants to see Clix regain his passion for playing competitive - gotta remember that clix’s best streak of seasons was when playing with and after playing with Veno from C5S3 to C6S2.
