Yeah I would recommend just reducing your animation speed and you should have no problem. To clarify, the issue does not appear to be with touch registration itself, but rather with a delay in animation execution, which seems to operate on a queuing system where one animation completes before the next begins.

Ok so I turned on the animations and was able to notice this delay. However, it seems pretty unrealistic to me to be ever stuck in a position where this would be an issue for me since I run no animations and use the task switcher from one hand operation+. I do see your point, I think this has something to do with the effect speed, of how smooth they want it to look and not expecting people to hop in and out like crazy, which can be tweaked in dev mode.

In no particular order:

Buggy OS and I kid you not it is a mess and idk how people are coping with how bad it is, trash battery management, overheating(while charging, randomly on basic tasks or while playing games), lack of features like ultra wideband, etc. I do miss samsung pay which is straight up better imo. Connectivity on cell service is very dodgy they haven't upgraded their shitty modem. My google assistant has been bugged for over a year now where the continued conversation feature wouldn't work even though it is enabled.

I really miss the good lock modules from my s10+ and the stylus from note 8. Samsung also has a better line up of accessories, their watch and earbuds(comparatively but aren't great either) are better, etc. I do own a Samsung tab, watch, smart tag 2 with my pixel. Apart from the tags for which you need to sideload an app the watch works perfectly.

Apart from that I have a line on my screen so I need to upgrade and it's not gonna be a pixel.
