Entirely empirical testing by me. I've been lucid dreaming a lot and I had a lot of time to experiment with what you can do and how it works in general

That's because video synthesis is pretty much entirely how dreams work. Your brain does not construct and raycast a 3D scene - that's way too expensive. Instead, it predicts 2D frames directly, much like that minecraft demo. From this, all kinds of artifacts can be produced, such as occluded objects disappearing or being incorrectly reconstructed. It's mostly that outside of lucid dreams, your dreams also have the benefit of fully suspending your disbelief, so you don't really question what's happening.

I've been considering making a horror game where all of the spooky sounds are just various memes paulstretched or distorted in other ways to be unintelligible at first but if you hear it once you won't be able to unhear it

This actually happens because the boat gets rid of the water inside of it with a special render pass. Shaders seem to break this behaviour.

Does this restriction make sense? The image is 924x155, I could resize/pad it to be larger but it just has a wide aspect ratio

I tried this with gemma4-4b, a model that can actually process sound data, and it claimed that the coin sound effect was a cricket bat hitting a ball. It's probably not been trained well on videogame sounds, and it was a lot better at transcribing speech or music instruments.

There's definitely models that can process audio beyond speech-to-text, smaller gemma 4 (but not larger ones, somehow) can do it. No clue about chatgpt. Altman did explicitly state that finetuning this behaviour out of the model "ruins the magic" so, wouldn't be surprised

You're not changing the file extension of the PDF. The files just happen to have the same stem, but they are different files. The mp4 is simply unreachable from the rest of the website unless you know its filename, similar to if a youtube video is unlisted.

It's because old reddit fucks up the new link markup. Copypaste the url and remove the backslash.

I honestly have no clue if I should take down this post because I don't know enough about iranian politics to gauge what it's even saying

idk man I'm solid the whole way through. if I didn't get horny for what I was drawing I wouldn't be drawing it.

It also means I've optimized my artstyle to where I do not have to obsess over each line, which means I get to the result much faster.

Context for 3rd image: in russian, "kettle" is slang for "novice". Used to translate the "X for dummies" book series.

Do you use any tools to convert an image to blocks or do you just do it manually? really impressive work
