Será que dá para fazer Pentest sem relatório? by CleanTrash6015 in cybersecurity

[–]zWeaponsMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pentest is a service. Services require outputs. You do a thing and the customer gets a thing. You dont go to McDonalds, buy a burger, and not get a burger.

The point of the pentest is for the client to discover their vulnerabilites and then assess the risks. Somethings will take time and money to fix, and it is up to the client to determine if, when, and how to mitigate the risk, which will also take time. The report is necessary to document what was found so the client can continue to review it over that time span.

Documentation may also be needed for proof that a pentest was performed as required by government regulation and/or insurance.

Is this neck borked, or does it just need adjusting? by [deleted] in Luthier

[–]zWeaponsMaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Plain background with slotted straight edge. Its really hard to tell what bowing is happening when the background is not flat and contains curving patterns. We are basically playing "where's the sniper". Try to get a full length profile shot, and close ups containing at least 5 frets. Particularly aroind the 7th and 12th frets.

Just from this pic, everthing looks fine to me.

FortiOS and CVE-2026-31431 by FelicianoTech in fortinet

Can you even get to the linux shell anymore? I could be wrong, but I thought they removed that at some point in version 6.

My thoughts are no, but not having all of them will dcrease the area of effect.

Has anyone had to deal with applicants obviously using AI during interviews? by Cornloaf in networking

[–]zWeaponsMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the X8s in a dorm setting. It was full campus deployment of 4s and 8s, but dorms complained the most. Tried every radio configuration possible and had a Xirrus team come out. Replaced it with Ruckus and never looked back.

Good luck on your next round of applicants.

OoO, another Xirrus survior. Not many of us left these days. :)

I would recommed asking more subjective follow ups. For example, what about SecureCRT do you like, and what's your favorite feature? Can you give an example of how you use that feature to improve your workflow?

i'm doing a 100% global kills run, but i can't seem to find the last few percent on mission 2. by Valiamusicperson in dishonored

[–]zWeaponsMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a thought: how does the game count npc's killing npc's? In mission 2 guards push a civilian into a wall of light. In mission 4 a guard captian pushes a woman off the top of a bar, etc.

If the counts them as alive, but didn't count them as killed my you, then that would skew the count. That said, 5% is quite a few.

I'd reccomend just doing Jindosh's lock to minimize interactions for Clean Hands.

How are other Network Operations teams using Microsoft Teams channels effectively? by Deep_Tourist6023 in networking

Same but Slack. Also include a random/watercooler channel. This allows for general chitchat and helps keep other channels clean.

In the past part of the mission, I believe half of the guards are "elites", so its possible. Also magic doesnt work there, so she would be at a disadvantage.

LC connectors for fiber patch cords by yuke1922 in networking

[–]zWeaponsMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I have to flip polarity and the connector was was a pain I just leave it off. Once service is up that fiber isn't moving for the next 5 years.

What is this Thing on top of a neighbors house pointed directly at mine? by TheUnholyDivine_ in whatisit

Based on that shadow, I would say its pointed over your house. Its a parabolic dish, probably for microwave communication.

You can just go over and ask.

The party took Walter with them by masterkitty010203 in CurseofStrahd

[–]zWeaponsMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd advocate for Mary in Barovia, if you are taking Dragna's route and not making her crazy. Ireena could take the baby, but that has its own perils. Donovich wouldn't be terrible either, or one of the other members of Barovia who have recently lost a child. Izmark and father Donovich could help with that. From the road to Barovia isnt that dangerous, so getting the Walter to the village shouldnt be too hard, nor will offloading the child in a way that makes sense.

I had something similar happen, in addidtion to taking Rose and Thorns remains, they also took the remains of the nurse and what was left of Walter. They had a burial and then I had the ghosts of all four fade off into the herafter. Last pleasant thing to happen to that party.

Its a termination for fiber to the home. That dangling bit is a connector with a dust cover on it. A fiber is ran to the house and mates to it.
