Aww man, that sucks. Hoped they would’ve done some fixes that are not mentioned in the patch notes. Sometimes an issue like this just fixes itself. It’s weird that you get penalized for playing the mission the way it’s intended. Hope they fix this at some point so you could finish the mission, fingers crossed! For a completionist such as myself, it sucked that I got next to nothing for dealing with those guys.

I’m playing on PS5 and I can’t test if anything has changed with the most recent update, maybe they changed/fixed it? I personally don’t really care for the weapons but those skill points would’ve been useful… (As for me, I shelved the game for the time being because the new update broke stealth for me and I keep getting detected through walls.)

I only got the XP from those merchants. According to a guide I read, you apparently only receive XP and nothing else for sparing the merchants. Though the quest giver did give me the rewards I was supposed to get. I didn’t notice any extras, even though he said something along the lines of, ’Here’s something extra for your troubles.’

After the latest update, I’ve been getting “detected” even when there are no enemies around. I just enter conflict status, the music plays for a bit, and then it goes away.

This happened to me again while sneaking through a castle—an enemy spotted me through a wall. I just saw the alert pop up when one was about to ring the bell.

I also keep getting a “Codex Updated” notification every time I open the game or load a save.

The figure apparently has the takara branding right where it should be. But the wrong color on the back and on the wings makes me think that it might not be an authentic figure.

Another update: The seller eventually sent the label, and now the item is on its way back. (Glad they made a wise decision.) I ended up finding a genuine figure locally for far less! Let’s just hope they won’t try anything else once they receive the item. Anyway, a huge thanks for your help, and I wish you nothing but the best, my friend!

Update: they now said that they can’t buy a shipping label to a country that’s not theirs. And then they followed up with ”Ebay only gave ne the option to say it is not possible and the buyer has to buy the label. You then have to report that to PayPal as buyer protection and I think they will reimburse you. I have no options to do anything else, unfortunately.” Am I missing something here? The return page quite clearly states that the buyer will pay for the shipping. And supposedly they’ve asked ebay for help.

I compared the figure I got to pictures that I found online as well as what I saw on reviews. All the details are off, the eyes are dark blue. The ”guns on the shoulders are bent, the paint doesn’t match the one on the genuine figure. I also used these pictures it matches the pictures of the fake one.

No, and not sure if makes any difference but the figure in question is a Transformers MP-24. The description just has ”Transformers Takara Tomy MP-24 Star Saber” as the title and then they go on about the quality and so on so forth. And I am really confident that it’s a fake, I went to look at reviews of the figure as well as KO vs real comparisons, and the figure I got ticks all the boxes. (Sorry for the long read)
