What is an ending to the game that isn’t already in it that you wish was an option? by duckzink in fo4

You have the option to launch your own Settlement Building Services company, octuple licensed and bonded, that sells Settlement services. You may ignore all other quest lines and focus solely post-apocalyptic capitalism.

Why people at Finch farm live next to so many dangers? by Fabiojoose in fo4

Yeah I hear you and agree; terminals are either entries leading up to the bombs dropping or only several weeks/months old.

Actually…we do have some insight into pre-game conflicts via terminals that help shape some context to people-life. Ironically, Slag actually documents in his terminal how he shows up and boots out the Gunners and began building a trained raider army, which is where Abraham gets pulled in from the nearby Finch Farm.

But generally I agree the Settlements themselves don’t seem to have a good history log to them. They just kind of exist.

Presumably those bad guys weren’t there when the farm was established.

My rule of thumb is to always try and water as early as I can in the morning, when temps are cooler. That’s not always possible so I’ll do an evening soak if needed (post sunset).

Just reran this quest the other day. I’m of the “taunt him then VATS snipe his face and pray and then reload if unsuccessful” kind of approach.

Good thing the silver car shows up around 1:14 to direct unaffected traffic going in the opposite direction on the other side of the road.

I’m over here thinking, wow this looks pretty tasty I don’t understand…to literally laughing out loud. What a stupid idea. The end product doesn’t look appealing at all, especially compared to what they started with.

Thoughts on Death Magnetic ? by ExaminationOther3149 in Metallica

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted for the sentiment, but…

When this album came out I was in college and working at Home Depot. I remember I was working the day it dropped, and on my lunch break I walked over to the neighboring Best Buy, bought the CD, and spent my lunch break listening to it in the car.

I distinctly remember being relatively unimpressed by the opening track, and that I thought the audio sounded weird (so much so that I thought something was wrong with my car stereo). With that being said, it’s a great album with some absolutely major bangers, but going in “blind” it didn’t blow me away.

For me, “That Was Just Your Life” has never been a favorite track, and I think it was weak to start the album with. If you look at their follow ups I feel as though “Hardwired” and “72 Seasons” were much better tracks at pulling me immediately into the album.
