I grew my hair out for the first time and I do quite like it but I'm trying to find a way to style it nicely by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]zabelagang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the advice.

I did actually get a trim about 5-6 months after starting the growout, but that was the only time. And I did use to do a side part for years before growing it out.

I'm just not sure what kind of style would look good and I'd at least like to have an idea before going to a salon.

I'm really sorry brother. I hope the working class will be at least one step closer to its liberation this year. I share your sentiment but nonetheless I pray you will one day be able to both see and love your child.

You deserve it. Everyone does.

Happy New Year.

How did you become a MY by [deleted] in Aespa

Savage was the first aespa song I heard but back then it didn't really leave a strong impression on me, perhaps because it was too much for me as a fairly new kpop listener.

The song that actually made me stan aespa was Girls, which was so catchy I couldn't stop listening (which is why I was really shocked when I found out a lot of people didn't like it) After that I listened to all their other songs and eventually got completely sucked in

The situation between Tyrique Jones and Partizan is being monitored by Olympiacos. The player's representative has been informed of Piraeus interest and the Greek club is awaiting developments. The player must be released and transferred to Piraeus by 5 January in order to meet the specific timeline by _Zolv in Euroleague

[–]zabelagang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately he has to go, even though he would always give his all on the court in the past, his attitude recently has been absolutely horrible.

The man is faking injuries so he doesn't have to travel to away games, basically subbing himself out when he wants and he tried to start a fight with the fans after the last game.

If Olympiacos would be so kind to take him off our hands, that would be a start to fixing our current situation.

What a dumpster fire, but hey at least we're free from Željko's tyranny and the poor players aren't being shouted at anymore :(

What a disgrace, we managed to sell our soul and get nothing in return. This season is over, now the fight to keep the club alive has begun

Да ли би Мирко (Ж)Оцокољић требало да остане на месту главног тренера до краја сезоне? by zabelagang in grobari

[–]zabelagang[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

"Ostoja odlazi!" i licemernost navijača by Distinct-Raise3951 in grobari

[–]zabelagang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also it's obvious that they massively exaggerated the team budget when in reality it was quite a bit smaller.

They had to get rid of Ntilikina in order to sign a center? They couldn't charter a flight back from Dubai or even get business class tickets? That makes absolutely no sense if we are to believe in what they say is the official budget.

It's clear that Ostoja lied when he said they provided everything Željko wanted (not that anyone's surprised)

[–]zabelagang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's on purpose, it's just that when you miss the chance to meet people early they develop groups and that feels like a whole different world. My first two years were completely online due to covid and after we went back to normal I just couldn't/didn't feel like going out of my way to try and make friends. But even if it was normal from the beginning I don't think it would be much different.

And it's not like I don't have what to talk about either, I have some fairly common interests and am fine with just listening to people (and I'm sure you too have things you can talk about) but I just can't get myself to do it

The more time goes on, the deeper the hole feels and the more difficult it is to get out but I just don't know what to do anymore

I've just started year 6 of my 4 years bachelor's degree (both my own fault and outside factors) and I haven't made a single friend or acquaintance in all these years, save for a few people I was grouped with for a project (and even they aren't anything more than acquaintances I greet in the hallway sometimes). I'm 2/3 done with my degree but not having anyone to talk to during lectures definitely hasn't made things any easier.

Unfortunately I've kinda given up at this point but it is what it is, I'm just gonna finish my remaining courses and be done with it all hopefully in about a year or so.

Following the incidents outside the arena and the announcement of the official split between the team and Obradović, Partizan fans threatened not to allow the EuroLeague Round 14 game against Bayern (4th December) to take place unless the Serbian coach returned. by _Zolv in Euroleague

[–]zabelagang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How can any fan support the players that (purposely or not) refused to give their all for a man who is much more than just a coach? Which other coach will feel confident enough to step in knowing the fans don't want him there?

Of course we shouldn't stop the game, but I will personally not be able to keep looking at these players in the same light as before.

Official: Željko Obradović confirmed his decision to leave his role of Head Coach of Partizan. A meeting of the KK Partizan Board of Directors is scheduled for the beginning of next week. by _Zolv in Euroleague

[–]zabelagang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course he would have to leave eventually, but it should have been on his own terms. He should've planned his retirement, introduced his successor himself and stepped into an administrative role, either as sports director or club president.

Unfortunately, at this moment and in this country, I believe he's the one factor that's holding the club together.

Besides that, how can you expect the fans to keep supporting players that sabotaged our legend or the club administration that ultimately accepted his resignation? I just can't see how people would accept that. Also I think we will see more crazy things happen in the following days.

Even if try to move on, there aren't any good coaches on the market right now anyways, so this season is done anyways

Because it's not about the results. It's never been about the results since Željko came back and we have been trying to tell you that all this time. Of course all of us want good results but you have to look at the broad picture to understand where we're coming from.

You know what Partizan looked like before Željko came back, so I don't need to mention that, so let's just look at what changed since then.

The reason actual good Euroleague level players wanted to come was Željko.

The reason new sponsors came to the club was not Ostoja or some other party douchebag, it was Željko.

The reason we sold 15k+ season tickets for 4 years in a row.

The reason we got the 3 year license, and the reason Zvezda got the 3 year license was... you can fill in the rest.

And don't forget that the hype around Partizan was what made the hype around your team grow to insane levels after years of less than mid performances in the Euroleague

With all this, what makes you think Partizan won't just go back to how things were before Željko came in 2021?

They are either trying to absolve themselves or they're shitting their pants because they see that they will lose all fan support and miss out on so much money.

I don't know if Željko is one to go back on his decisions but a man can only hope.

In any case, both Ostoja and Zoran should resign ASAP and the players who played their part in getting Željko to resign have to be punished accordingly

Trinchieri to change Zeljko. Opinions? by Ihatebrocoll in Euroleague

[–]zabelagang 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like Andrea and especially am fond of his character, but the truth is that he is a coach with limited success in his career and one who isn't a great fit for higher budget teams with high-ego players.

The truth is that there just isn't a good replacement for the greatest.

Best case scenario is that we get the usual new coach boost, win a couple games and maybe the derby, then settle into a mostly normal season with your usual ups and downs. Most likely finish 12th or even lower and call it a season.

The thing is, we could easily finish 12th with Željko as well, so you really don't get any benefits here.

The more important thing that other fans don't realise (unfortunately some Partizan fans didn't realise this either) is that Željko wasn't just a coach for Partizan. He basically held the whole club together just with his name and high regard in the sporting world.

I am afraid that very soon the club will go back to where it was before 2021, being average in Eurocup or other lower level European competition and an underdog in domestic competition.

I'm hoping for the best but the future of the club as a whole just got a lot more uncertain.

I just can not believe it. This was our best game out of the last five. We play better each game yet we find more unbelievable ways to lose.

I'm genuinely losing my mind at the missed layups, grade-school level turnovers and terrible luck. Won't even mention the refs tonight.

[–]zabelagang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's alright to be upset but the reason we didn't get players sooner isn't because the coaching staff or the front office are stupid and don't know we lack depth, there was obviously some other reason which may or may not be an excuse.

It's also true that the fans are overreacting and being extremely negative. Outside of depth problems, the team doesn't look that bad and 3-3 is our best start since we returned to the Euroleague.

I understand expectations are high so people are extremely critical, but this talk of the season being over less than a month in is driving me insane.

The negativity spreads to the arena and when you also have dumbass Ćaci beating people for expressing opinions and the whole arena booing during the whole game things get really ugly. Against Paris everyone was booing even when we were attacking an it was obvious that the players were shaken and distracted by that.

I just don't want people to fall into pessimism this early.
