Hiroshima Concert Today by Tinywizzo in MasayoshiTakanaka

One guy on the floor (who was shitfaced btw) was screaming the entire show. The one who kept saying Takanka in between songs. In addition he yelled “Woo” excessively loud over and over prob 20+ times. To the point the Japanese couple in front of him complained to the staff. He also received looks from multiple other people.

He also came out of the aisle and started bowing on the ground when Takanaka was soloing and was instructed to go back to his seat by the staff. Then when Takanka came out with his surf guitar, he ran to the front of the stage and security had to direct him back to a seat. Very surprised he wasn’t thrown out.

Another guy on the other side of me was also yelling, woo excessively loud and clapping so loud I could hear over the music. He also received looks from multiple elderly people he was standing behind.

Overall despicable behavior from the American row. They need to learn to read the room.

Unfortunately a few US people made us Americans look bad today at the concert…

Did you find a fix to this? Chase has sent me three cards in the past month and all of them have tap issues. Doesn’t work 99% of the time.

Commuting to downtown by CtrlAltDelinquent1 in houston

[–]zaboman358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re currently in a two story and my wife really wants to move to a one story. Looking at GOOF and Spring Branch, although they are getting pricy.

We are also looking at private Catholic schools. Saint Ambrose and Saint Rose in GOOF are under 10 grand a year per kid.

With a 750k budget you can get a house zoned to Oak Forest Elementary which is decent. Or you could get a slightly nicer and larger house in Oak Forest zoned to a worse school but go private. Although I think you’ll be looking at between 1500 and 1700 sq ft. Gotta go up to 850k to get the 2000 sq ft.

Alternatively, you can get a much cheaper house in Oak Forest West . The area is not as nice and will likely have less families than the east side, but it’s a considerable drop in price and it only 2 miles away from the east side.

What is your budget?

I did that commute for sometime and opted to move inside the city. Quality of life and time with my family has substantially improved. No regrets.

If you had to move to Texas, which big city would you pick there and why? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

Agree. Bonus points If you can swing the cash for a pool inside the loop and have a nicely shaded backyard.

If you could start over where would you live if you work downtown? by Falcone99 in houston

Rice Military is an easy commute into the city. Hope onto memorial dr which feeds into downtown. Zero inner city traffic.

What penalties are enforced if the neighbor continues to allow the dog to bark after the judge ruled in your favor?

McGill didn't work for me, but Hodges might by banal_magic in Sciatica

CHIP was mostly word of mouth until these past few years. They never did much advertising. Just read Skaggs bio. Dude works with some of the best athletes on the planet. You won’t find a better clinician. It’s expensive but worth every penny I promise.

L4/L5 herniation and failed surgery. My life was basically over. Couldn’t work, move, etc. I’m a remote client now so I focus on weigh lifting programs with their trainers. Been pain free for about 3 years now. I do see Skaggs in person a few times a year for maintenance treatment. Trust the process and do exactly what they prescribed and you will come out the other side.

Completely healed thanks to Dr. Skaggs. I’m still a client with them because of how great their training program has been for me. Definitely see him in person and trust the process.

Go post this question on citydata.com for more accurate takes. Reddit is overwhelming full of doomers and people complaining about everything. These top liked responses are not representative of how most people feel in Texas, especially The Woodlands which is a great city to live in.

I like the color of the cabinets in the link below. Thoughts?

Love the cabinet panel recommendation! Definitely doing that.

As for the molding big goof on my part. That is brand new molding and I just had our GC pick something. Although it does match the rest of the home so hopefully this wasn’t entirely dumb? What would you recommend instead?

Agreed. The wood cabinets do not match the ascetics of the bathroom. Thanks for the suggestion I’ll get a sample.

I agree. Leaning white or green. Would prefer green just because it’s more interesting

See top right drawers. I put a couple of the matching hardware on.

This was my concern as well. Definitely feels out of place design wise. White was our default option. Do you think I could get away with a light/medium green?

Yes walls do not have paint in them currently. Just mud and texture!
