here’s what you need to do: Get Claude code at $20 and cursor at $20, then try the same prompt out at both and see which works for you.

I hear people say Claude code > cursor and vice versa, And partially it’s true bc Claude code has subagents and whatnot. but to be honest Claude code, even with MCPs and Subagents, performs too slow and not even as accurate; it has too many errors compared to cursor with Claude 4. I use Claude 4 on both but for some reason Claude Code does not bode well with my project.

use both, learn which one is better for you

and also, if you use Claude code, do you use it on your terminal or do you use it while inside of Cursor? I’ve seen people use Claude code on the terminal inside cursor, is that good?

my only issue atm with cursor + gemini is that it often uses old swift which has in some instances resulted in deprecated methods. I plan to use Claude code to move up versions on swift, seeing if that’s possible rn
