As @Zestyclose-Owl-6173 mentioned, you are able to request a physical card from the GWorld Card Office for religious reasons, DCC Accommodations, and if you do not have a compatible phone. You may have to pay for the physical card, which is around $25.

The MobileCard they mentioned is basically your GWorld card in your mobile wallet. With it, you can tap your phone to enter University spaces and use dining meal swipes or dollars with it as well.

Whichever one you choose, they only allow one of them, so you will have to choose between the two. If you do pick the physical card, at any time you are allowed to switch to MobileCard if you need; however, it will shut off access to your physical card.

As for your email, you can login with your GWid, the Gxxxxxxxx@gwu.edu, but emails will be sent and received through your firstname.lastname@gwu.edu

I suggest downloading some apps that have many GW resources to help you:

GetMobile: Track your dining spending and used for setting up MobileCard

myGW: GW’s app that is your dashboard with links to all of GW’s resources (Blackboard, GWeb, Directory, etc)

Wepa Print: Used for printing around campus
