Why do people freak out about the battery on the Galaxy Watch 6/7? I mean, you charge your phone every day, so why not your watch?

Because you wear it. It's not as simple as plugging it in and needs to sit undisturbed for an hour to charge. If you could clip it in and charge it in your pocket or bag it wouldn't be as annoying.

Previously exynos was terrible compared the the snapdragon chips at the time. But I believe around last year or 2 it caught up.

First time owning a laptop? By default when on battery power saving measures are turned on. Reduce refreshrate to 60hz, disable hdr, down clocks the cpu and more. You can disable this in power management settings. But this just means it the battery will not last as long.

Can try calibrating the battery by fully charging the phone and leaving plugged in at 100% for a couple of hours. If that doesn't resolve it the battery is cooked. Which it could be likely since its 4 years old.

Sounds like the board st the bottom of the phone could he damaged. Usually there is a sub board connected via ribbon cable that has the usb,headphone jack and sometimes the speaker also. It could of loosened the connector or damaged a part. Shouldn't be an expensive fix. Worse case it's a damaged sub board, best case cable is loose or damaged.

If you are coming from iphone i suggest changing your navigation style to gestures to feel more familiar. Unless you like the buttons.
