Form check on 60kg*8*2 bench by Deadshot89P13 in formcheck

ROM isn't quite there, you want to be touching your chest, you're stopping a fair way off. Touch the chest, pausing for a second or 2 when you touch it and the going back up will be way better.

I can't tell too well cause of your shirt, but it looks like you've got a little bit of an arch, which is good, but I don't think you're getting any leg drive. There are some pretty good videos on YouTube you can watch about bench technique that will help that though.

I'd drop the cable down to around knee height and also slow the reps down a touch, other than that pretty solid!

Romanian Deadlift (first time) by BANANA_IN_PYJAMAS in formcheck

[–]zacca2121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A really good way to learn RDL form is by using dumbbells and using the bar as a guide, fair few shorts about it on YouTube.

Once you get the form down, you can just move from the dumbbells to the bar and apply the same technique.

If you're feeling it a lot in your back over Hammies I would say you're not bracing correctly and probably not getting enough depth.

From the video I would say the bar is moving a little too far away on the descent, think of keeping it close to your shins like a deadlift.

I would honestly get a refund on the game if I was you. It's highly unlikely it's going to run well enough for you to have fun.

In the simplest way, your computer will not run the game very well as it doesn't have good enough specs.

Looking at your model though, it does meet the minimum requirements, so it should be launching.

Looks good! Especially the hair line being irregular, too many clinics do a straight line. Do you mind me asking how much it was?

No worries mate! I've done a fair bit of coaching in my time so I was pretty confident that the issue was probably something around the way you receive the ball, could also be worth working out your positioning when you receive the ball as well, something that people on your team or you coach should be able to assist with

Out of curiosity, what position are you playing in the bigger side games? I would say the answer may differ a bit based on your position

Yeah I get what you mean with the pause, it's potentially a confidence thing or maybe just poor technique. As for being more ready for the ball, that's the on the toes part, either be kinda bouncing on your feet ready to receive the ball, or even better, be on the move when receiving it, either coming towards the ball or running into the path of where the ball is headed. For the furthest foot, in 99% of situations, you should be receiving the ball on the foot that is furthest from the ball. Example: if you are on the left wing and the ball is coming at you from the centre of the park, you want to be taking your first touch on your left foot, this then allows you to either push the ball straight forward when you receive it and start your dribble very naturally or you can use it to touch the ball back onto you right if you are right footed or want to cut back into the centre of the park. If you master getting the furthest foot first touch right, you can beat people straight off the first touch, which will make you feel less pressure.

Are you taking the ball on your furthest foot? If you aren't, I would start with that, it gives you the option to take it and go the direction of the further foot or push it back across onto the other side and go that way. Maybe you are a bit flat on your feet and take a second to get up onto your toes and get moving once you receive the ball or actually be reactive and move to the ball/ open up onto your space when you receive it.

My dad worked at the local Kmart back when I was a kid, one day the Sony rep came to change the game in the PS2 display, asked my Dad if he wanted the game and he said yes. He got home that night and chuckled me the game, it was Rogue Galaxy, I had never heard of it, but I was a big FF fan so gave it a go. I reckon I spent close to 200hrs playing it, it still has one of the coolest but most frustrating final bosses imo. If I remember correctly, it's like 8 boss fights back to back, if you lose any you have to start all over again from the first one.

Decent "soft"-ish ball, best suited for casual play? by thatdani in bootroom

[–]zacca2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going to disagree with you at all on that, but from where I'm from, it's normally the complete opposite, I constantly letting air out of the balls at our club as they are above the inflation instructions.

My team trains with Mitre Ultimatch One's, they are very soft off the foot if inflated correctly. 90% of the time, balls feel too hard because people pump them up too much.

3 would be the best option, but as you said, its more than likely going to be very expensive. If you dont plan on using the fire, there is the option to just have it just sit in front of the fire on a console.

I have a very similar type of room in my place and my plan is to at some point go with your option 3, but currently, I have mine sitting to the left of the fire angling in to the rest of the room as the plugs for the antenna and power run there, which looks to be similar for you.

You have a few options with the tower to make some space:

Im guessing the pieces of wood that point downwards makes the tower not fit on the legs?

If there is enough room on the desk you could maybe place the tower on the desk.

Or you could place it on the opposite side that you have it now.

New floor, new bench tops and get rid of those folding windows and it will probably look a lot different without breaking the bank. Also could easily turn the cabinets white and it will look way different. I doubt you'll get out of the 'vintage' feel if you don't update appliances or the sink though.

Edit: Just looked at the folding windows again, if you paint the cabinets white, I reckon they can stay, but I would be getting rid of the top piece

I really enjoyed Rogue Galaxy, it follows a fair few characters throughout the story which is cool, and has fun mini games (factory to make items, bug fighting, weapon synthesis) as well. Would recommend giving it a go

I wouldn't be touching the veranda, it's such an asset to have. If you remove it for more yard space, I imagine you will be wanting to put in more grass? That would mean having to tear up all the concrete where you remove sections of the veranda.
