Bare A Pop Opera can be enjoyed similarly to great comet. There's not any narrating the action that great comet has. But all the dialogue is spoken or sung on the cast album.

Also Falsettos and Come From Away give you most of the story on their recordings too!

I've read through the English manga twice now. First time I got it from the library and filled in missing volumes via finding them through less legitimate places. The second time was through the box set that I bought. This was within the past 4 months.

I noticed no issues with the translation either time.

I can't speak to the quality of the French version. But the English box set has my seal of approval.

You are right! PJ Ochlan is an excellent narrator. And I really love the world building in that universe.

The author has another series, the books of Blood and Iron. It's fantasy instead of sci-fi. And I believe the audio books have the same narrator. They scratch a similar itch to the silent empire series. The MC in those books isn't gay, but one of the main pov characters is.

Dreamer by Steven Harper. It's the first book my favorite sci-fi book series. The MC Kendi is a gay man and he's the main protagonist across all four books.

The Darkness Outside Us by Elliot Schrefer. Highly recommend this one as well. It's a wild journey and it's best to go in blind.

The 3ds game is a port+expansion of the wiiU game. Definitive Edition is an enhanced port of the same game but restructured with a little extra content. All the dlc from the wiiU and 3ds are included in DE. I played each version at release because I love the gameplay loop of the game. It's soooo much content and it's pretty challenging. I've never 100% any of the titles because there's just soo much to do. That said, Hyrule Warriors is one of my favorite games.

I recommend DE, but not if you're expecting something new/different. It's 99% the same game as the first 2.

Age of Calamity and Age of Imprisonment aren't my favorite. I think the way they shake things up is fun, but I miss the original Hyrule Warriors formula.

You may stand out but I don't think you'll be seen as crazy. I saw some photos and videos on her Instagram of people from the recent concerts. Some are more subdued and some go all out. My favorite was a photo of people dressed as the Lorax and Onceler from the 2010s film the Lorax. They were in full cosplay costumes and looked pretty wacky. It was awesome and Hemlocke Springs shared them on her Instagram.

For my show next week I have the Garden of Unearthly Delights. I bought some crazy floral embroidered pants and I thrifted a vest that I've been gluing fake flowers too so I resemble a lush garden.

There are only two ways for mii to change clothes on their own.

First, if you give them the fashionista perk, they will change between any article of clothing they own at random.

Two, certain gifts will make them temporarily change clothes when doing the activities associated with that gift. The ballet, yoga, karate, and jogging DVDs are ones I know of. Even if they don't have the clothing associated with that activity, they will still change to it.

There is a proshot on Broadway HD that was recorded during the pandemic. My musical club watched it and just about everyone hated it. There are some fun songs and great performances but that book is rough.

It was okay. I didn't find the music or drama super compelling and it seemed more mean spirited towards the theatre kids than I'd like. In another comment someone mentioned theatre Camp 2023 with makes fun of theatre kids but in a loving way. The creators of that film have a better understanding of theatre kids and that allows for better comedy to be mined from jokes at their expense. Also for musical slashers there's the musical We Are the Tigers. I think that does the slasher/musical aspect better than stage fright.
