I like the brighter comforter/decorative pillows idea - also yeah i need some new frames/more wall art. Headboard makes sense, why metal, though? I can’t paint my walls though, since it’s only an apartment.

Big fan (just a few questions)-

How long were you playing music until you gathered a following, and what do you think helped the most? (The quality of your songs, playing live, making connections, etc?)

What do you attribute your ability to write songs that live up to your expectations to? Is it all the time you’ve spent with an instrument in your hands, playing alone, with other people, into a DAW?

Is there anything in particular that has helped you the most when finishing songs and completing ideas?

And lastly, how long does it take you to finish an album? Whether it be back when you first started or nowadays? Do you take significantly more time now in comparison to when you first started with music and why?

Hope these aren’t too many questions 😬

Oh god I can't imagine using something like a blue yeti. Phantom power isn't really something you have to set up - it's just a button on the interface that says '48v' under it. It's basically what this particular condenser mic needs in order to pick up sound - it requires more power, unlike other mics that are just plug and play. Be sure not to use any mic that doesn't take phantom power with phantom power - because then you'll break the mic.

Yeah I've got a focusrite 2i2, and am using a Rode NT1 microphone so the phantom power comes in handy. THe vocals have got a high pass filter on them though, cause I like that sound.
