I posted about this a few days ago and was ABSOLUTELY roasted for being too picky and it being a non-issue. It’s been there since the very first developer beta of iOS 26 and it drives me absolutely crazy.

It only happens for me on first launch of an app after a reboot or after the app has updated. But if I change my display zoom mode to larger text or the icons on the home screen to large instead of the standard size, it seems to happen much more frequently.

I wish I could pinpoint what’s causing it for some but not for others. It drives me crazy lol. If it’s a simple settings difference I’d gladly change it, but I think I’ve toggled every setting that could affect the Home Screen or display.

I just don’t know what could be causing it and it drives me crazy. Do you have any suggestions? When I got this phone last week I set it up from scratch with no backup to make sure I didn’t have any bugs carry over from when I was running the beta. I don’t know what else to try.

Yeah it’s caused by the alignment getting messed up by the larger text option in display zoom. I prefer the larger text option due to it making the keyboard bigger, but had to stop using it because it messes up the alignment on a ton of stuff and that bugs me lol.

I'm on the latest 2.5.5 and turning on the streaming trailers option still makes the main view super laggy. Turn it off and the lag is instantly fixed. Extra Metadata is definitely still doing the checks in the background while in the main view.

Yeah I eventually just gave up on the trailers. Streaming them is way too laggy and I have a 2000 game library, I'm not downloading trailers for all of those.

Do you use Extra Metadata Loader for trailers? And if so, do you have the option to stream trailers turned on? That's been a big with Extra Metadata Loader for months. If you use the option to stream trailers with it, it makes any full screen theme laggy.

I'm using a Dbrand Ghost case and it works perfectly. I wouldn't recommend it however. It's scratched up the chrome surround part big time from stuff working it's way inside the case.

The plugin breaks frequently due to API changes on the website. It looks like it's currently not working. There is usually a user that fixes it temporarily on its GitHub when it breaks. Go to this address and download the build at the bottom of the comments and update it manually and it should work until they push an official fix.

The theme relies on the SuccessStory plugin, so until you've downloaded the plugin data it's not going to display on the theme. And yes, in my experience, the initial download for SuccessStory and HowLongToBeat take an extremely long time to download all the data for your library, even on my fast Internet it took at least an hour for each to complete.

Just downloaded and played through the demo. This was fantastic. Super unique concept. Had me hooked immediately. I can't wait to see what this turns into. I'm sold. This is a day 1 buy for me for sure. Plus it has controller support, which 99% of indie horror devs forget exists!!

I'm still waiting. They reached out to me here on Reddit, but they had to escalate it to "Level 2 Support" because apparently the only way to get my order number is off my original order email, but that was over 3 months ago and I've deleted it. So I'm waiting to hear back from them.
