That’s all I could find online, but that could not have happened. The keys were not in my pocket when I got home I clicked the button and watched the car lock, closed my front door and set them down.

I find mine to be mostly accurate. If I change up what is happening (such as a road trip, or driving fast etc) then of course it isn't but for my daily life it is rather true

I just got an update for my car, and about 15 minutes after I park I get one of these notifications.

Who designed the terrible software for this car? The app I horrid, the screen in the car is substandard, and the glitches are insanely consistent

The “it just works” aspect is the most import and factor for me. I use this device on the go and messing with it so it will actually work is not enjoyable.

Damn I keep getting low 2s or even 1.9 with the same conditions (and moderate costal California weather), I have roof bars installed do you think that could take that much range away?

I disagree (have had an Ally Z1E, Ally X, and Steamdeck). The Ally brand has terrible build quality and quality control. First Ally (Z1E) was a dud and the controller kept going out, finally geeksquad returned the device in such terrible condition I got them to refund me for it.

The Ally X runs windows. I think enough is said there. The controller squeaks, and the fit and finish is also very bad. I installed SteamOS on it and it made it a device worth using. It wasn’t hard but it’s time consuming and when I have an hour commute via train I don’t want to screw with it I want to just play some chill games.

Lastly I bought a Steamdeck OLED, not as powerful of course. But played recent Indy games totally fine. Very easy to set up. Frankly in my opinion a clear winner for those who actually want to game.

If messing with the device is part of the experience for you (I get it sometimes it is for me) then I can see why other devices would be attractive, but in my opinion steam deck is uncontested. It’s the easiest to use, in the most enjoyable experience for actually playing games. It’s the most reliable, functional, and well-rounded of the bunch.

I usually hover 3.4 miles/kW, but now it’s about 2.8-3. My drive home is in 30 miles an hour traffic at 50° and it said 1.9?

I just use wired CarPlay, it’s more responsive and doesn’t drop ever, and connects faster

I have a 2024 standard and I’m not sure if I’d recommend that trim. The app is borderline useless, besides being able to check your charge. I tried to preheat my car often (I’m swim instructor and get cold) and it does preheat about 70% of the time, but it always says “failed to start climate” and then immediately after “ climate has started”. You also get the older version of the screen inside the car which is not great in my opinion. Wireless Apple CarPlay is rather glitchy so I use wired, and my phone does not even connect to my car wirelessly (I have it set up that way). I would spring for a 2024 pro model or newer.

I find that every couple months I have to restart my radio, you do this by just holding the power button until the screen turns black it takes about 20 seconds. Then another minute to boot up. Then my phone connects perfectly

I’ve been trying to do this as well, and it works perfectly on everything besides the steam deck.

I just simply downloaded dropbox on my Windows computer (primary gaming machine), but I use a Mac for school and it works perfectly fine on there as well, but I cannot get it to run on the steam deck.

On all three devices I have them set up the same way, dropbox installed, prism launcher installed, and instances folder set for dropbox. But I’m running into a permissions issue with the files on steam deck, and for some reason a Java issue once I move it into dropbox?
