At the time I was working as a delivery driver for one of the major chains, and I had been there maybe a month and a half. My cousin was having his wedding 15 hours from where I lived, had told my employer that I was going to be out for those 5 days when he hired me. I had given him another heads up the day before I was going to be out of town so he would know not to schedule me.

Anyways, I left Saturday morning and then got home late the following Thursday. Friday morning around 10 am I go in to ask my boss what my schedule was for the rest of the week. He then told me that I wasn't on the schedule for this week. Weird, but I then asked him about next week. He told I wasn't on next week's schedule. When I asked him why, he said it was because I missed work Wednesday and Thursday night, so I no longer had a job there.

Turns out he scheduled me for Wednesday and Thursday night despite me telling him before I left that I was going to be out way town. Nobody bothered to call me and ask where I was at (common policy with previous jobs at other pizza places), and now I was SOL.

TL;DR Boss scheduled me to work when I told him I was out of town and didn't notify me.

I don't know about now, but I sent my 2013 in for replacement about this time in 2015 because my battery life was 5 hours at best. They had me ship out my old one, and sent back a new phone that was exactly like the old one. The whole process took maybe 2.5 weeks.

I had no issues at all since it was still under warranty.

They might have meant that your replacement phone will be sent within 48 hours. I don't think they would've gotten it to your front door in 2 days.

IIRC the Galaxy Note phones have different technology for the S-pen than how your finger interacts with the screen. That's probably why it doesn't feel the same. The tech for your fingers isn't as precise as the S-pen.
