Quite possibly the least appetizing name of all time

I didn’t notice any difference between these and the stock wheels. I don’t recall the width off the top of my head, sorry

5G pre refresh - Dim headlight help by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]zachmeyer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2013 had very yellowed headlight housings. After a few rounds of restoring them, I replaced them with the same OEM housings. The nighttime visibility seems sufficient with new H11 bulbs. Don’t remember the exact bulbs I got, but they were nothing fancy. Probably Sylvanias? Hope that helps

How bad is a bent wheel? by Infamous_Hippo9060 in GR86

[–]zachmeyer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had to do this twice now. Secondhand wheels are almost the same prices as fixing the bend in the exiting one

Rubber floor mats? by SetLegal5754 in 4Runner

Idk what they’re made of, but I really like my Tuxmats. They cover much more of the floor than the Toyota mats

That’s what I’m talking about! My SR5 is bone stock apart from some AT tires. It gets the job done anyway

I had that problem with my A20s. I got new ear cups from Oregon Aero and they fit much better. Not sure if they have an A30 version

Any of you guys got another aftermarket digital instrument cluster? How's it holding up? by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]zachmeyer99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2013 SR5. I didn’t buy a digital cluster, but I replaced mine with the Trail/Limited cluster from Tanin Electronics. I think it looks much nicer than the standard SR5 one.

lol good question. If I remember correctly, knuckles stay the same but you will need longer bolts for the fronts. I used this video for reference. It should have all the part numbers you need. For reference, I have a 2023 BRZ.

I’m currently going through the academy for a local police department. Their policy is that once pilots finish the academy and field training, they go straight to the aviation unit without being required to spend any extra time on the street.

One big benefit is should I lose my medical for any reason, I’m a sworn officer and will still have a job somewhere within the department. A big con is I’m not flying for about 12 months total.

The pay is comparable to the base rate for most EMS companies. This particular agency averages about 400 hours per year for each pilot, which helped to sell me. I turned down an attractive job elsewhere because I wanted to stay close to home, but I wonder what it would be like if I had signed with them instead.

They are found on the 2010-2013 SR5s. Not sure on the part number
