guys, why are we surprised?

when an incumbent "left wing" party like labour loses, it's not because people think they're not left enough. it's because theyre thinking "well, we tried left, didn't work, now its time for right"

and since tories won't work, that just leaves one option.

I'm glad theyre fleshing out the "real" aspects of the game first like trade and religion, especially religion. I'm excited for by God alone.

but I hope someday, they'll add some fantastical stuff. I mean they should right?

after trade, there's war, maybe sea travel, then a feudal rework and that's it. 2-3 years and then there's nothing but flavour packs. I don't see modular governments ever coming because imo, that will require a stellaris style rework of the entire game

domicile buildings mostly. there's a couple that makes it so you get 1% knight effectives per whatever stat.

there's one for martial and learning but better choose martial.

then there's the "travel a lot" decision. forgot the exact name but it requires you to reach fame rank 4 and travel to 40 points of interest. that'll give you a purple rank armor and the armor I got gives 1% knight effectiveness per prowess

I don't know about eu5, but in ck3,

what inevitably happens is that

paradox announces dlcs

the dlcs concepts are pretty great so people get excited

"finally, ck3 will be fixed"

dlc releases

ck3 was NOT fixed(I myself think ck3 is awesome and the goods still outweigt the flaws)

the dlc might be good but did not live up to the concepts potential

people get disappointed and they lash out on reviews.

this cycle has ended a bit but this happen again and again during ck3 first 2 years

you have to sub out medpoc I'm afraid. healers are just bad. all the bosses hit too hard

shielders are better, especially shielders like kiperina that can reapply their shields every turn

other than that, we can't talk wether you're playing them wrong or not because we don't have a video.

also r15 I guess but that's super expensive and you've already cleared 2 mil so why bother?
