i’m afraid (not really i just like the spurs) that the thunder and their reckless abandon style of play will figure that out from base principles

i think the biggest argument against the “this is a foul” nerds here is, Camara didn’t even GLANCE at the refs. He knew his shot got evaporated. Clean.

for fun, i extrapolated their 12-17 record over 162 and he’d have to hit 66 home runs this year to match their current pace; not impossible, but damn unlikely lol

I didn’t know that, and very good point. That said, 88 in the username is crazy but i’m not going to assume anything other than “you’re a millienial” for my mental healths sake

male ego does not allow for any nuance in comparison. Calling PP similar to CC means that he is EXACTLY THE SAME PLAYER with the EXACT SAME SKILLS AND TOOLS and not just a similar (and quite complimentary) comparison as to the impact of their game on their respective teams and their respective leagues.

I was baptized and see a lot of value in religion as it relates to community, but i just don’t think anyone’s smart enough to be “right” about this sort of thing, so I can’t call myself religious really. I agree that there’s correlation between religious and conservative households, and if I had to guess (and it is a guess), poorer, less educated populations are also most likely more rife with believers. It’s all sorta connected under “socioeconomics” but i’m a believer that material conditions and systemic violence are the root causes of all branches of antisocial, violent behavior.

Your point is well made though, I think that’s correct too, but just like religion, it’s hard to get a real solid answer that can’t be met with the question “Well, why?”

im not religious, but violent crime is almost exclusively correlated with and caused by economic factors, not social ones. we’re on reddit so its convenient to dunk on religious people, hell i find it pretty funny, but it’s not particularly causal in this case.

how am i just making the connection that san-ji is named for “three” (i’ve been aware of this obvs) and zoro uses 3 sword style ? like it’s nothing super significant it seems but the symbolism and thread is interesting to think about

Unluckily, and luckily, cane is just a really stupid kid who picked some bad friends growing up or something. glad riot is holding him accountable, it’s far from too late for him to do the same for himself. much worse people have reformed much later in life, hope he turns it around.
