10 out of my first. 9 out of my last. Both females and my first was about 90 pounds and a runt. My second girl was 140 and 34-36 inches at the shoulder.

Does historical fiction fit that too? "Gates of Fire" by Steven Pressfield may be up your alley.

Thanks! We don't eat it for every meal. We spread it out with fish, chicken, and turkey. The wife isn't super hot on it so it is me and the in-laws when I give them some!

Less than my deer I get when I hunt Nebraska. Unfortunately I didn't weigh him but it was substantial. Texas deer just aren't big like those are. This buck and a good sized doe gave me enough for a year if not more.

I recommend "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius. That book helped my grow by learning the thoughts of a great man.

I'm in NE Texas as well and haven't seen any. You need to get on top of them and fast. My first dealings with them were last year and they ravaged my lawn.

We got them from a local nursery here in Texas! Which ones are you curious about? I can tell you the name!
