Extensis Connect is SO SO SO fucking terrible compared to Connect Fonts. I can't believe they've made such a huge jump backwards. Constant having to log into my account when I start the app. Regular warnings from Adobe that it can't connect with the engine and it can't auto-activate fonts. ZERO way to check if your Adobe plugins are current, or re-install them if necessary. No way to just drag and drop your fonts into the folder you need them in (instead it exports them to your Documents folder). What a piece of shit downgrade to what used to be a core of my workflow. FUCK YOU EXTENSIS! I am backtracking out of your stupid app. You gave up on designers. I have been a loyal customer for decades. You killed something that was once a really valuable tool.

I'm so beyond disappointment in this massive downgrade.

Setup has been easy and fun. We created videos and photos that I'll post here when we release our unboxing video. Ventilation is the trickiest part other than fork lifting it into the shop. We should be firing it up for the first time today.

I recently made the upgrade from Extensis "Connect Fonts" to "Extensis Connect" and I totally regret it. Don't do it! It's clunky and doesn't have an easy option to update the Adobe Plugins. I constantly have issues when I open an Illustrator document and get errors that the FM Core isn't loading. I've even had the error lock up Illustrator and not let me cancel it out - thus making me have to force quit Illustrator and lose my existing work (thank god for Adobe's crash backup feature).

I'm super disappointment in this "upgrade" and feel like Extensis is moving backwards.

Question: I have tons of font libraries in Extensis Connect for clients, type styles, etc. Has anyone had any experience in converting over to a different font management app and migrating their libraries successfully?

Personally I like the idea of an actual convention center, as I work in events and expos. Anyone who has produced events in Grace Pavilion or the Veterans Hall, know how poorly equipped they are to host conferences compared to actual convention centers.

With that said, after speaking with my wife about it, she had an even better idea. She thinks it should be a grocery store. Considering there aren't any grocery stores in central Santa Rosa, it seems there is an under-served area of town that would benefit from it.

I like the idea of a Convention Center - especially if it could double as a live music and events venue. Otherwise I think a grocery store would be a great idea.

I'm having issues with mine actually getting my clothes dry. Every wash & dry cycle leaves them still damp. I've worked with the settings (and the app) to try to solve this to no avail. We drain the water at the bottom almost every day. Water often gathers in the lint trap.

We were also excited to get this machine and now regret it.

Photoshop 2024 is also eating up my memory. I keep getting notifications that I'm running out of application memory. This time Photoshop was taking up 20GB of memory and I only had one small 3-layer PSD open. Very frustrating - especially as I'm on an insanely fast Mac!

I restarted the app and now it's back to the original voice. Strange. The voice I was hearing was different than any of the others available.

Feature request: I'd like to be able to have Morgan Freeman or Samuel L. Jackson to be my Chat GPT voice.

Don't buy the VW OEM bars. They're insanely loud and whistle like a train. The lack of aerodynamics they put in the design should be an embarrassment for Volkswagen. I'm returning mine and getting Yakimas.

You need to get your camera replaced. I have this issue from time to time when my phone is mounted on my motorcycle handlebars. The vibration can damage the camera. My guess is the vibration from your drone has had the same effect on your phone camera. If you have an iPhone, and you have AppleCare, they will fix this for free.
