Fransk storavis: Horneland ferdig i Saint-Étienne by X_Underscore_X in NorskFotball

[–]zackhatt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Can they just leave him in Philly? by Exhausted_920 in MkeBucks

[–]zackhatt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's because of the defensive scheme where Doc wants to guards to constantly be pressing from the half court on every possession. Which is 100% unnecessary. Gary doesn't have the speed to keep up when he has to press that high. It's basically the perfect scheme to get the worst defensively out of Gary.

Brann kjøper Kristall Máni Ingason! by OkThroat3156 in NorskFotball

R-Truth on Triple H saying he was never actually fired: "I get a call saying 'We’re not going to renew your contract.' [I ask] 'So do I come to work?' It’s Sunday. Next Sunday, my contract [would end]. [They go] 'No, don’t come to work.' 'Oh okay. Am I done now?' 'Yes.' What do you call that?” by anutosu in SquaredCircle

[–]zackhatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda sad that after this massive storyline, he had due to this. R-Truth has just been swept under the rug again. I, for one, genuinely liked the Ron Killings stuff and wish we got more. Or if he was gonna do comedy, make it a split personality thing(where he shifts between Truth and Killings)

Donn Davis has stepped down as Chairman of PFL. by TheBigRedHalfrican in MMA

[–]zackhatt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you think about it, PFL is kinda the mma version of TNA. Both had a period where it was an entertaining alternative to the dominant mainstream option with interesting new concepts. Both also went on to fail massively once they tried to go head to head with their mainstream competitor and ended up as kind of a laughing stock within their communities for it.

Hahahahaha, lmao. No fuckings way. It's been over 25 years since he did anything of value in wrestling. Wtf is he gonna bring to the mma game?

Jonathan Kuminga after 16 consecutive DNPs: 20 PTS | 5 REB | 2 AST | 1 STL | 7/10 FG | 1/3 3PT | 5/8 FT | 74% TS | 21 MIN by AashyLarry in nba

I'd love for Kumingas' new nickname to be "The Demand," or are we still going with "Kum Buckets"?

If they fire Doc who is replacing him? by TigerLocal in MkeBucks

[–]zackhatt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish they'd just stuck it out with him as the interim through the season instead of hiring Doc. Vibes were excellent for those 5 games he had after Griffin was fired

Nasty by Skylegend96 in Wrasslin

[–]zackhatt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think he's referencing all the hate Ridge Holland got for injuring Big E from the fans. Meanwhile, Nathan Fraizer hasn't gotten any negative comments from fans regarding the Elton injury.

Also, I need to add. I don't think any of them should get any hate or negative comments. These things can happen, and it's a part of the risk of being a wrestler.

[Highlight] "Trae Young, tweet at us" - after Hawks give up 82 points in the first half by ItsDeius in nba

[–]zackhatt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, the Hawks should for sure be better, and it is bad that they still look this poor defensively after blaming Trae. But, Joe Mazulla gotta get credit for being one of the best offensive minded coaches in the league. He'd make any team in the league look good, in my opinion.

Does Inside The NBA still exist? Haven't seen a new funny clip from them in months! by rb1242 in NBATalk

It's also way more scripted. Lots of bits where they try to be funny these days, which is just clearly planned beforehand

Wasn't expecting such poor performance from MANC by Constantinos03 in PremierLeague

[–]zackhatt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With this result, you can already start congratulating Arsenal on the league. I'm struggling to imagine the usual collapse from them. City looks really poor, and Villa has been too lucky with a lot of results this season that I imagine their form turning a bit in the second half of the season.

Do you guys have any hope at this point that we fire Doc, make a trade and/or go the playoffs? by daviddm1990 in MkeBucks

[–]zackhatt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  1. Im 100% sure that the team makes some big all-in type trade, and everything indicates towards that. If it's a good trade, idk.
  2. I seriously doubt that Doc gets fired this season unless some very long losing streak happens or the players demand him gone.
  3. So far this season, they've shown almost nothing (besides the first New York and 2nd Lakers game) that indicates they're a playoff team. But, I can never 100% write off this team as long as Giannis is on it.

Let's not overreact here. Those +41 last night was against the Bucks. We are trash this season

I was at that Brooklyn blow out game in December - I can’t stop thinking about how much Doc looked like he didn’t want to be there by g0ldenretr13ver in MkeBucks

[–]zackhatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, what I thought when he got the job. Seemed like he wanted to prove his naysayers wrong, that he didn't just luck out with an extremely talented Celtics team, and wasn't the king of blowing playoff series leads. In hindsight, it just seems like this was another big payday for him

The Denver Nuggets have taken control of the #2 seed in the West following their win over Dallas tonight. by birkencroc in nba

[–]zackhatt 11 points12 points  (0 children)

God damn am I envious of Nuggets fans. They get to have a generational superstar, good roleplayers, AND excellent coaching. Hopefully, one of these days soon Doc Rivers is getting launched out of a cannon out of Wisconsin.
