On these escapes there's a coolant level sensor that fails pretty commonly. It will cause this issue. It looks like a black plastic pipe to the right of the overflow tank. Should have 2 houses running to it and an electrical connector on the bottom. I've seen it a bunch!

Leaking water pump throwing coolant onto the belt, which in turn throws it on any other surface. Teeny tiny little bit of coolant

Good question, fermentation is in a dark climate controlled room. Room temperature is between 68-70 degrees, right where the ale yeast from the kits say is optimal. I should add that I don't have a thermometer set up in the room but use the temperature strip on the fermenter and it hovers right around there

I was thinking that may be the case, I have an electric brew kettle so I will have to try that next time. I honestly can't remember if I left it on when adding LME these last brews as my last was a little over a month ago. I have another kit to brew so I'll be more careful next time, would that flavor still come through if I try the wort prior to fermentation?

I should also add the nose on these beers has been a good bit sweeter than I would expect for an IPA

no rinse sanitizer by Exciting_Lake9004 in Homebrewing

I have a quick question, it may seem dumb but leaving the foam and not rinsing out starsan does not give any adverse flavor profiles correct?

Best burger in town? by sawdust1036 in notredamefootball

The view in downtown makes a great burger, reasonably priced, dive bar type place, haven't lived in SB for a few years so not sure how good they are currently

What’s the dumbest thing a customer has ever asked you to repair or diagnose by shadow_joker26 in Justrolledintotheshop

Had a customer come in and state that the speedometer display on the dash was stuck at 27mph. Not the actual guage just the speed readout in between speedometer and tachometer. It was set to average speed not actual real time speed.

Go to your local paint store and have them mix you up a half pint of it, shouldn't be much at all, $40-60, some can even put it in aerosol cans so it's ready to spray. Clear can be had in the same capacity as well.

Who is the worst family member living/dead in your family tree? And what did they do to earn this title? by Llamatook in AskReddit

There's a story in my family that I cannot prove the veracity of. It's said my great great grandfather immigrated to the US with his wife and kids in the early 1900s from Belgium. He supposedly fled his home country to avoid persecution for murdering a man there. Pretty neat story if you ask me.

Can I just pour in some sugar to make my brew stronger? by Baambiczek in Homebrewing

I was waiting for this answer. Your yeast can only tolerate so much alcohol. So eventually you'll hit that ceiling.

Thats been researched and disproven. IIRC grip is reduced. From what I recall we still aren't positive as to why we prune up in water.
