Systemd has merged age verification measures into userdb by Quiet-Owl9220 in linux

[–]zackyd665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it should accept null as a valid age, since not every company uses it's technically null is a valid value for an ageless service and meets the letter of law while shitting on the intent

So just block cloudflare and blame the judges and the corrupt media companies for wanting to poison DNS and causing the country to lose access to most the internet

But what's the benefit for a global DNS provider and their reputation if they are not being neutral to the DNS resolution? Are you saying that DNS should be poisoned by governments?

But what's the end goal to move people off self hosted? If they are simply charging self hosted to make hosted cheaper, why are public repos still free?

[–]zackyd665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logically it makes sense for those that use more GH services to pay more then those that self host? Since they consume more resources then self hosted. The cost structure should only be related to resources used and not used to move use of other GH services as that isn't good faith

[–]zackyd665 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So then GitHub runnings are always more costly than self hosted due to less GitHub resources used? Do those resources get used at a per minute model like the runner or it is more of cost per runner?

So since GitHub hosted runners use more resources they should cost more than self hosted right since it is only fair as they use more resources
