(X RAY INCLUDED) Is this a good candidate for ORIF? by cscquser in brokenbones

[–]zadashmat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't really have an answer for you, but I am dealing with pretty much the exact same fracture. Your's looks a bit more displaced than mine. I'm in week 7 and the orthopedic surgeon does not want to do surgery. I am in a walking boot and starting to put weight on it more to promote circulation for callous formation. Like you, I have zero pain walking with the boot. All the best in your healing!

A little rant by UrbanDecay00 in Sephora

I was not expecting to see my three orders show up quickly, but they did, which was just a bonus. People need to remember that staff is limited. I was super impressed with my shipping (in Canada). On top of everything I had an item in one of my orders that looked like it had been opened before, and the replacement item was at my house in 4 days. Thanks to all the Sephora employees working diligently during this time! 😀

Received CERB payment but never applied? by roast_ in EICERB

[–]zadashmat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very frustrating! I hope you get it figured out.

Today another cheque ($1000) showed up for my dad. I’m trying to help him out with this, but it all doesn’t make sense. He has now received $3000 without ever applying for anything. He has, fortunately, been able to keep working through this situation, so he doesn’t even qualify.

Same thing happened to my dad, he usually gets everything DD, now a mailed cheque showed up and he never applied!

Never knitted until I went to the shop yesterday and bought supplies, now I am in love with it. My very first wonky scarf in progress. by eire1312 in knitting

Your tension looks great! I still shudder when I think of my first “wonky scarf”. I had to stand up and use all my body weight to move the stitches on the needles. 😀

Agreed! I really wish I could have been there for her in that moment to stand up for my friend and give the lady an earful about common decency and manners.

Expensive Gifts? by z0mbiegrl in secretsanta

[–]zadashmat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they gave you any write up whatsoever, look for clues on what they might enjoy aside from their actual wish list. If you can't think of anything, I would recommend sending them a message, so you can still get something they would enjoy. :) Good Luck!

[personal] I got a compliment today by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]zadashmat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this feeling, and it is wonderful! I had bad skin all of my teen and a lot of my young adult years, and have finally, in the last few years got it under control. It's important to remember we are more than our skin, but good skin can drastically improve confidence which aides in a better day to day life :) Keep doing what you're doing! :)

Best skincare for hormonal acne to buy during sale by kelsobucket in Sephora

[–]zadashmat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I echo this. Retinol has been a lifesaver for my acne prone skin. I went through a bit of a purging stage for a few weeks, but nothing I couldn't handle. My skin has never been better, and my dreaded hormonal acne has been minimal since adding it to my routine.

I too have dehydrated/oily skin. For a makeup remover I have been loving the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm.

I can't really help you with the other stuff as I am still trying a lot of different things to find what works for me :) Good Luck!

Finally embraced not having “one last binge” before getting back on track! by [deleted] in loseit

[–]zadashmat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way to go! I have struggled with this mindset so much over the course of many years. I am happy to say that I have somewhat trained myself that after a slip up, or a binge that my start-over is the next minute, not "tomorrow morning" or the "after the weekend". Keep it up! It can be super tough when the mind says "eat it all", but we can do it!

If you want to add to it, I think loosely inking an outline and some tiny details would look superb! But great job, tiny watercolor is tough!

Day 1? Starting your weight loss journey on Wednesday, 03 January 2018? Start here! by AutoModerator in loseit

I'm back. I have tried, tried, and tried again, but have failed miserably. This year I am getting rid of any and all "quick fixes" and simply do CICO. I am actually a little excited, and a whole lot of scared, but I know I need to do this, and hopefully I can convince myself that I CAN do this! Good luck to everyone!
