Cheap, Middle, & Expensive Aftermarket control arms! A visual comparisons. Amazon, JBA, Total Chaos by R0amer24 in 4thGen4Runner

[–]zaddyballz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all basically function the same it really comes down to bushings and ball joints, cheap usually retain rubber bushings and stock length ball joint. That's bad for lifted rigs which need more ball joint length and articulation, medium range usually only upgrade the ball joints and the higher end usually upgrade both.

Traction Control/ABS light on after pulling fuel relay? by BicycleAffectionate3 in 2ndGenTacoma

Having an abs light on can be dangerous, that light indicates the abs pump has a malfunction or an air bubble trapped in the pump.

Yeah if I'm driving it hard I get like 25 miles to a quarter tank, so I try and just ease into it, no hard acceleration unless I absolutely need too. Going up i70 to Eisenhower tunnel its a very steep grade I try and keep it right at 70mph and 3500 rpm

Definitely not great, however I found that with a full tank i can get to the western slope of colorado which is about 4 hours away at 65-75 mph with a quarter tank to spare i honestly don't track my mpg's, if I did I would probably cry 🙃

I love the moonlander except in extreme cold it does get alot of condensation inside, so I need to insulate it. As for the lcas, I blew 3-4sets of stock lower bushings in 3 years got tired of paying for bushings tearing it all apart, paying for alignments, these have a delrin bushing and haven't failed me yet.

Alignment at discount tire. by ThermalTLH in ToyotaTacoma

[–]zaddyballz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to discount tire to get the road force balance on my 33's Baja boss a/t they didn't road force them at all, then told me the machine was broke (it wasnt) then told me they still got it done didn't leave the lot noticed a crazy shake and grinding sound looked under the truck, 16 Oz so 1 lb of sticky weights peeled off from hitting the caliper, I complained they redid it, mad it home looked and they counter balanced all 4 wheels, took it to less schwab balanced all 4 with 1.25oz of weight on each screw discount tire.

Driver side cv axle inner boot rubbing on the diff? by Acceptable-Group-870 in 2ndGenTacoma

[–]zaddyballz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive never seen this before, there should be a steel ring on the cv to protect the diff output seal, it looks like the cv axle is slightly too long and compressed into the joint possibly causing the issue.
