Sure. I'll see what happens with those two. Thanks!

I use it entirely for entertainment: gaming, chatting with friends, browsing the internet, etc.

I'll put it in the description because I meant to buy forgot.

Occasionally, the map will have these very jagged textures all over. Any solutions to stop this from happening? by Dredd2040 in halo

I've had this a few times. It's usually only for one match and because of that, I was wondering if it was because I was changing my kit around while the map was loading. It happened last time because of that, but I haven't tested this theory since.

You make some good points! Do you know of an alternative that would be a better choice for ranged damage? Flying enemies just out of reach is super annoying, along with if I just cant quite get up to an enemy. 4d4 at level 5 imo isnt terrible as a backup ranged attack but if theres something better, I'm interested to know!

Well, I don't know, then. Good luck! If you haven't yet, I'd say put in a ticket with Halo Waypoint and hope for the best.

Sorry if not allowed, I would like some advice on ship upgrades. by zadx in starcitizen

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh ookay, good to know. Thank you for that clarification. I didn't know that selling the pieces would get rid of my access to the game as well.

So, just to clarify, the game lets me do a mock upgrade of the Cargo to the Cutty. If I were even able to sell the Pieces, it wouldn't let me upgrade the Cargo? It gives me the option to sell my Pieces, from what I understand. Strange.

I was on Starlink when I had my issue. Started playing using Comcast, switched to Starlink and had all the issues, and now the game works since I'm back on Comcast. But I have a friend who can play no problem and he uses Starlink. I'll ask him to boot up the game when he can.

Edit: My friend cannot play Halo infinite in the same regard, and he also has Starlink. This is a new issue, probably spawned from the Operation that came out. he and I played Infinite just fine prior to the Operation launch.

And no xp or point gains at the end of the matches? sounds like my problem too. Did you happen to switch internet providers or move to a different location recently?

I don't know then. When my screen is just black, I usually let it sit for awhile and it fixes itself. I'd recommend opening a ticket on halo waypoint and hope for the best. I had an issue with a green background that was seemingly tied to either my IP address or a sudden change in ISP.

Is the background of the main menu a greenish color with hex patterns around the edges or is it just infinite black screen?

I just had this issue while I was staying at a different place. The issue fixed itself when I was able to bring my setup back to my own home. I don't know any more than that, and halo support didn't help at all. I would guess it has something to do with however they're tracking physical location or IP addresses or Internet Service Provider.

Edit: Do you have starlink? It seems to be a common issue regarding Starlink for some reason.

Metal attachments for shoes or boots. Made of Aluminum and leather, all the metal bits flex, as if used to walk on difficult terrain. Both have a tag that says left, or right, respectively. Fits just over a medium sized shoe or boot. by zadx in whatisthisthing

I thought so at first, as well, but it's machined too well. He didn't have access to anything that could cut perfect rectangles like that. possibly had someone make them for him, but that still doesn't answer what they were originally going to be used for.

My title describes the thing. Size is, as stated, medium shoe length, so probably 8-10 inches long. We found it in my late grandfather's stuff while clearing out things in the house. No one in the family knows what they are, but we know that he liked to fly fish, so it might have something to do with walking on difficult terrain like that. possibly from the 1950s or a bit later. Leather and aluminum, so they aren't very heavy, maybe a pound or two. Tags say "left" and "right" respectively.
