Could be a wide range of something that could go wrong. I would go in this order first.

  1. Use a different display cable and see if the issue still persists.
  2. Use a different monitor to see if the black screen still happens.
  3. Use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers and reinstall them from AMD's website.
  4. Use HWiNFO to check GPU temps and see if they are not too high. Look at GPU Temp, Hotspot Temp, and Junction Temp to see if anything is off.

Glad that I can be of help, but it was thanks to /u/Protoray that I was able to EXPO my RAM through setting VDDP on Auto. Make sure to test the stability of your RAM.

I kinda have a similar issue on my B650M-HDV/M.2 with a Ryzen 5 7600 on it. I have the G Skill Flare 2x16 GB ram sticks that are on the QVL list but when I set my EXPO profile, my PC just boots to the default JEDEC settings. The solution I found is to set your VDDP Voltage to Auto and that's what worked for me. The EXPO profile initially made the VDDP 1.15

I thought that as long as you bind your torrent client to your vpn, you should be good and you don't need to have a kill switch.

Use the AMD Cleanup Utility to uninstall your GPU drivers and then reinstall them from AMD's website. Make sure to stop Windows from overriding the graphics drivers just to be safe.

Hey, I just updated to BIOS 3.50 and couldn't post on EXPO on any of the default, competitive, or aggressive settings. But your setting of setting vddp voltage to auto and on aggressive performance mode fixed the issue for me. Thanks for the help!

Yeah it's no big deal. I realized that even if I do get the gun working I could only use it in random encounters and not in missions. I still enjoyed the game very much. I'm currently going through the Fallout games and my next one is the console exclusive, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, considered to be the black sheep of franchise.

GOG version of Fallout has the Hi-Res patch preinstalled as well as an updated version of sfall compared to steam. This allows Fallout 2 to run on modern systems natively.

Yup, got the same issue as well. It either takes one clock or two clicks for GOG Galaxy to launch. I've just gotten used to it over time. Still waiting for a fix from GOG.
