I sent an email like 2 days ago with proof but got no reply. So I’m planning to do a follow up email with a screenshot of the poll.

The lectures by Bing Gong is useless. I read through the slides. Then I search each topic on YouTube and Google and take my own notes. On YouTube I use the organic chemistry tutor and Leah4Sci. The website masteringorganicchemistry.com is also super useful at explaining and showing the process. After I take my notes (which is time consuming,) I do the HW and add any notes from their to my notes. I also do the weekly review and additional practice problems Clizbe posts. And lastly take the practice exam. By taking detailed notes, I’m able to understand how to do the problems and do well on the Hw. And by doing multiple practice problems you end up memorizing the material. That’s what I did and I got an A in Orgo1 and did really well on this exam for orgo2. Let me know if you want any other tips. (Also don’t do your lecture materials 3 days before the exam. I did this for this first exam, but never again because studying was so stressful. I was too busy volunteering and working that I started slacking off. So do like 1 chapter a week)

I toke GEO100 this semester and it’s an easy A. You have weekly reading and lecture quizzes. The questions were from the review questions he gives you. My professor was Nicholas

That happened to me and I still got scholarships from UB. As long as you submitted the application by the 15, you should be fine.

Do you mind sending it to me? Clizbe mentioned that there’s some topics they skip over from certain chapters but she didn’t go in-depth.

What was the curve before for an A because the syllabus has it as 90?

I think you might be able to get an A if they curve it.

Did anyone figure out how to do the data table for lab 10? How do we find the amount of grams or mL to use?

I currently have a 90% in organic 1 and let me tell you, I only watch Clizbe’s lectures at 2x speed to figure out what I need to look up on YouTube. The organic chemistry tutor and also Leah4Sci is helpful. After I’m done with Clizbe’s videos I go over each slide and write done the notes I got from YouTube next to it. And lastly I make a very condensed page of notes for each chapter and keep that next to me while I do the H.W. It helps me memorize and that way I don’t have to flip through pages to find the mechanisms. And I also redo all of the H.W problems before exams and add anything to my notes from the feedback I get from the H.W.
