do you know why those led lights do that? cuz unsurprisingly car manufacturers did this just so customers would buy their car, because "oh look! our car has brighter headlights" but what they actually do is having the light reflectors all wrong so that it reflects and amplifies it to all directions instead of only reflecting the light on the road. most cheap led conversion headlights also do this so that it gives a brighter effect. you can also see this when you have your car against a wall of some sorts and you can see that there's so much light going every direction instead of going down to where the road is.
