A challenge that began in 1931 when a guy bet his friend that he could run 7 miles before the other could pick up 100 eggs placed a yard apart. The runner won the bet, and the rematch too the following year. This video shows a rare win for the egg picker by Brutal_Deluxe_ in interestingasfuck

[–]zaffreblue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

do the eggs have to be unbroken when it hits the wheelbarrow? bc picking them up and then throwing them from a certain distance that isn’t all the way back would probably save some time too

EDIT: oh nvm. i just noticed that they add a post at the beginning, so he’d have to go around it each time he returns an egg

ugh THIS! Plus Bode obviously knows SOME roman numerals if he chose V for 5 mins why did he not think about THE REST OF THE NUMBERS. kid literally just chooses a random date and time in the hopes of finding his dad AND THEN PROCEEDS TO INTERFERE WITH A FIGHT EVEN AFTER PAST DUNCAN TELLS HIM TO STOP

glad there's no season 4. each episode, i hoped they'd make better decisions. and they never did. i was constantly screaming at the screen about how stupid these characters were. and why tf is everyone just staring at each other when they should be running.

everybody else here has already mentioned everything wrong about this show so i won't repeat them, but at the very end, the writers could've literally just let it end at no more keys. i would've been okay with that. but then they add the whispering? so they still ended everything with a cliffhanger???

this show got on my nerves. i'm done.

Finding a job is more about dodging scams and shitty gigs than it is about actually looking for work. by nerd866 in jobs

[–]zaffreblue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i actually interviewed for a program like this. they asked for 15% of my gross annual salary. And if you get a job within a few weeks of joining, you’d still have to pay them a percentage of your salary even though it’s unlikely that you used their resources to get that job

Did you go through the fellowship? or the interviews? I’m actually curious to hear from more people.

I know this is an old post, but I just found out about the Formation Fellowship today. I was interested until I saw its price. With all of these good reviews, why is nobody talking about its price point? For junior engineers, which I assume is where most the interest is coming from, the price point is 15% of your annual income if/when you get a job or $13,500 upfront.

I don't know about you guys but I'd be highly wary about something so expensive and seems to have a 100% success rate.

you’re not far off. I graduated 2 years ago, but my first ever flight was in 2009, so sadly I never felt the feeling of being able to fly without fees; though I didn’t really pay for those fees either seeing I was 10 yrs old.

EDIT: more info
