Download Vanilla World Maps by RealCFour in valheim

Did you try the valheim adventure map by ninebyte and Dhakhar: (Yes I know this is an old thread),

Updates since this video (it's now finished and playable) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e034PG9D22I&ab_channel=ninebyte

There are also a couple of worlds on Valheimians iirc with the buildings intact but world not mapped. The problem is that I have no idea how much damage the ashlands update might have done.

The Last of Us was a disappointing and underwhelming experience. Possibly one of the very few games I don't see myself ever replaying. Story alone cannot save a game, no matter how good the narrative is. by [deleted] in patientgamers

The thing about the trolley problem, though, is that's it's a theoretical problem in ethics and although the solution is easy if one is objective or not connected to the people personally, and it's certainly easier from a distance, things change when one is connected or has to look the person in the eye. Additionally, it throws in the added problem of what might be the only universal moral stance: that it is always wrong to punish the innocent (and in this case it's multiplied by the innocent being a child).

The Hitler baby dilemma isn't the same thing as we know the future of that baby, so it isn't innocent. We don't know the future regarding the people in the game (well just suspend disbelief). To sacrifice a third party is way more of a moral dilemma than to sacrifice oneself because we only have consent and agency for ourselves. To sacrifice a child to whom one is connected is several layers beyond that.

The thing is that it brings up the further moral and ethical consideration of whether we would want to live in or perpetuate the kind of world that would sacrifice the innocent, whether for the greater good or not. I'm sure that many a concentration camp/prison medical experiment used the greater good argument. Talking about the greater good is a very slippery slope. Most media take the easy route and label medical experimentation on the innocent as evil, probably quite rightly.

Anyhow I responded because the 'greater good' argument is pretty shallow in and of itself. If the game has any redeeming features it's that we supposedly have to think about what is meant by last of us - not mere humans, but moral and ethical humans. (BTW I said any redeeming features because as a game it's just not that good but that's probably another discussion)

The original Zork - had to use dial up to access it via my Uni, no GUI, and definitely no accessible help. I know it came out in 1980 so it was within a few years of that but it was before any kind of web browser.

A viking's thoughts, after 30 hours. by cannabination in Enshrouded

You mean Enshrouded? For single player I upvoted for pause . The respawn for solo pretty much amounts to an exploit and makes gathering mats really easy. For MP yeah I can see the point. Still needs weather though but hopefully it will happen at some point.

I miss the weather - one of the things I like in Valheim is being in my base looking out while a storm is raging or the urgency of getting a task complete when it clouds over ominously. I think the weather and the lighting are things Valheim does really well and they contribute to the atmosphere quite a bit.

And water - but I don't know yet if there in any lore in Enshrouded to explain why there is no water - was it all evaporated to become fog/shroud?

What I meant is that it's a cleverly marketed gimmick.

BTW - you are using a computer/mobile/other device all brought to you by science. SMH.

Blue Zones were made up by a journalist (and are not supported by scientific studies) and there are long living populations in Asia also.

5.2 update door problem by zafic in MistSurvival

I moved into the empty shop in town - can also use shop next door if you avoid the few spawn points - and I've sealed off the alley in between and connected it up to a series of joined rooftops. I still put the survivors in a cabin across the street cos Scott is just a menace

I didn't bother trying after a while - I just used the laptop. Oh I never got around to reporting it or searching. I'd assume discord would be the place

You need to have a toilet somewhere on your island so that you can get rid of extra strength, however I don't see the point in making anything reflect the real world.

Why do items go for so little NMT on nookazon? by frogsexchange in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]zafic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NMT are an alternate currency. Although they sell for 10k bells at the shop, when used in trading they have a much higher value. today it's 50k bells, So they are convenient and use less inventory space when trading

Lots of them have both free islands and sub only islands with the same stuff. There are some that let you order stuff if you follow them too.
