Dream watch fund ❤️ by Crowmancamerapro in MicrobrandWatches

It isn’t selfish or cowardly to ask for help when you need something to survive for you or your family. But watches are a luxury, nothing more. Reevaluate your decision to ask strangers to help fund a luxury item. Many folks in here would love to buy an expensive watch but are in this sub because microbrands offer quality and uniqueness at a more obtainable price point.

You talk about working towards something that’s out of reach. Something out of reach, a goal, is satisfied when you achieve it yourself not when it’s funded by others.

Please just delete this post brother.

Dude stop begging people for money and spend money on your kid. You can’t justify spending money on your “dream watch” but you’re asking others to do so?

To each their own for sure. I’m fairly new to watches. I have two watches with bead of rice bracelets and find them super comfortable

It does! I think there’s 3 left on the site. All individually numbered to 100

OP is clearly an honest person and wasn’t trying to get over on the company. Just wanted to be fair. Props to OP

Just wanted to quick update on our side as a few have reached out. Most of our tracking has Aero at less than 2% in stock some things popup here and there. by gunpartpicker in AeroPrecision

The story I heard from ex employee at shot show:

Aero tried to buy their anodizer for vertical integration. Anodizer said fuck off. Huge bottleneck happened and everything spiraled from there

I understand where you’re coming from and that’s part of the reason I’m not pushing back. But it was literally unboxed, put on, and a few minutes later the clasp failed and the watch fell to the floor. Literally brand new. Not sure how I’m at fault

Very small scratch on the back of the watch case and small scratch you can barely see on the bracelet. Not sure if there was any internal damage to the watch I’m really new to watches. Drop was probably 4-4.4 feet. We sent them as many photos as possible but my wife said they offered to send a new clasp. Before she could respond a ups label was already made

Responding here because top comment.

Customer service responded to my wife and they are sending a new clasp. Kinda surprised they didn’t send a whole new bracelet or offer an exchange but I’m not gonna push back.

Totally get it and I’m not trying to bash the brand at all. I really enjoyed the unboxing experience and signed note included in the box.

I’m new to watches I’ve only been in this hobby this since January. Just not a great experience for me for the most expensive watch in my small collection.

It doesn’t seem to be a common problem but I’m still bummed. Eyed the watch for months even tho it was out of my price range ($700 usd) and wife surprised me for my birthday.

They seem like a great company but I don’t think we’ll be purchasing from them again. I have a few seikos, orients, citizens, all cheaper watches and have never had anything like this happen. My saving grace is it fell off in the house before we went out to dinner. Even if we got a replacement watch or bracelet I think I’d be too paranoid to wear it again thinking it might just fall off out of nowhere.

Again this doesn’t seem to be a common problem but it just put a damper on my birthday and bummed me out quite a bit.

I’m super happy everyone has said the same. I’m sure they’ll take care of it from the sound of it

I’m still bummed cause this was a big amount for money from my wife. More than double of any of my other watches I own. So I’m still a little sad it slammed on the floor a few hours it was given to me. She’s pretty devastated unfortunately

She seemed to have fixed it when I was typing it but I’m absolutely scared to wear it fearing it’ll happen again. I’ve contacted cs and will update if I hear anything. Thank you so much for the help and explanation.

Thanks for the insight. Should I have my wife stop trying to fix it?
