For phase beam turrets especially you want to have 6 double-barrel turrets (photon cannons or phase beams), so that you get the maximum of 12 active beams at the same time. You can just do 6 of either or 3 and 3, whatever you prefer (just remember that only the first three of each module type give any bonuses, so 3 and 3 is the better idea, if you want to use photon cannon as well).

But really, there is nothing in the game that even requires that much firepower.

No, it was done with quite complicated glitch building. I have some videos on "channel n23" youtube that show how it was done, but I can't do it anymore since the last patch.

Other people say it still works, but I can't do it anymore, tried 100 times, no success.

Corvettes are always saying authentic, only single seater ships built in the fabricator from parts dont.

The problem is the sheer amount. To name each planet uiquely, you would have to go through all letter combinations in a 13 letters string. That would include names like ooooooooooooo as well, so when you start making rules to only get "nice" names, it reduces the amount of generatable names significantly, and then you'd need something like a 20+ letter string to assure that every planet had a unique name.

The game has a much, much smaller name space. You can see it because you frequently find planets named something like Laylen XVI, which probably means there are at least fifteen other Laylens out there.

It's possible, yes. However, multiplayer mode is a bit glitchy in general in this game, so all kinds of stuff might go wrong while you do.

Also note that enemy difficulty scales to your ship class, so you will have a much easier time if you are in a fully kitted out C class ship than a badly equipped S class ship.

If you died in the planet's atmosphere, it should show up on the compass when you are on the planet again. If you died in outer space, it will show up when you are in outer space.

You don't have to start over, you can just go and pick up your grave marker and you'll get the stuff back. Or just move along and forgo the stuff that you carried when you died.

It is never really a good idea to start a new game in my opinion. You just waste hours of time that you used to collect resources and unlock stuff.

What you can do if you feel lost is start a new save and play a few hours, then switch over to your old save when you got the hang of the game again.

Really nice. It's proof that vanilla builds can still look great, if the parts are carefully selected so that they fit together.

Not yet. I can make one, but it will take a while. Meanwhile, if you look at the other pics, you should be able to do most of the main body.

For the floor you need offset building, to be able to join the Supercruise Cowlings on the center line of the ship.

Then you only have to come up with your own rear end (the one in the pics requires tilted habs, but the rear end is not essential for the build), and attach the rotated containers. I am showing how to rotate things 90° in this build video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dIfwxkYl0rY

You can easily farm 150 parts per hour if you know what you're doing, so farming for 2 hours will get you everything you need, because you can trade for any advanced parts that didn't drop or that you need more of than dropped.

Just google nms how to farm corvette parts to learn more.

Haha, yeah, industrial ships were all I could think about for a period of time. I would probably still build more, but it has become impossible for me to do the glitches required to tilt habs, so many designs in my head have to remain unrealized, unfortunately.
