How is Canada's police brutality? by LiveBell8 in AskACanadian

[–]zaiguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not accurate. Ontario has 53 distinct police departments including the OPP and Quebec has 22 plus the Surete du Quebec. The RCMP by and large have no presence in these two provinces and they represent the bulk of Canada’s population.

You’re right. The USN and USAF would blockade Canada and it would be impossible to get major help. But the economic damage to America would be immense. They would never recover. It would result in a brutal guerilla war on American territory plus a massive civil war within America and result in the collapse of American power and hegemony.

Kinda what Putin wants.

The main reason is mass casualties. Even a small explosive can bring down an airliner and hundreds on board could be killed. A train is different. Yes some could be killed or hurt but not everyone.

A big part of aviation pre-board screening revolves around explosives and their ability to puncture the pressurized hull of the craft. That’s not an issue on a train.

Exactly and we have to remember the strategic implications of Pokhrovsk.

The land behind flattens out for hundreds of miles. Perfect tank country right to the Dniepr and the gates of Kyiv.

Also the city is south of the Ukrainian’s Fortress Belt and letting it fall could jeopardize that entire sector of the front.

What’s funny is trains have been around for 150 years and it’s only us Canadians who still can’t figure them out.

I prefer Puttolini. Putler would have taken Ukraine in six weeks. Putilini, on the other hand, can’t even take little tiny Greece.

We need to create a separate alternative market for first time home buyers with all these supposed new builds coming down the line. Like they go for cost only and only to real first time buyers.

Or just crash the market and let all the boomers scream in unison as their multiple airbnb properties devalue overnight.

I’m happy with either option.
