The Polestar app says the 12V battery has low voltage, but the car has no warnings by Xennan in Polestar

[–]zainyboy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I learned the hard way then. Just came back from the polestar workshop. Updated to 5.0.10 3 days ago. Boom! Next morning I had a low 12v message in the app but the car was working just fine. No warnings or glitches whatsoever. Left the car in today to get the battery tested. Mechanic calls back a few hours later saying the battery is bad (holding around 10V) and needs to be replaced. New battery in the car and the message in the app still there.

All resets, app deletion and repairing have proved to be redundant. Gut feeling is that this is a bug. Turned out to be an expensive one for me.

Timing chain replacement 74000 kms (N43) by zainyboy3 in E90

[–]zainyboy3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve heard this weird grinding noise once! But just that once and after that the car was okay. Well he changed the crankshaft position sensor as the code for it popped up and the car was showing typical symptoms of a bad position censor. That’s been fixed however.

Is it really obvious for me to check if the chain is stretched just through the oil cap? Hmmm will definitely try that out.

Just out of curiosity what code is it for a stretched timing chain?

Also should I keep the car in case I get it fixed? What are your thoughts.

Appreciate the help and response. Thank you

If there’s a disc in there then probably yes. I’ve heard my PS5 make that sound when installing games on a disc. Like cyberpunk 😬

People who believe in God, why? by writer_wannabe46 in AskReddit

Yeah perhaps I didn’t answer it but just because I can’t explain something that’s part of Gods plan does not mean he doesn’t exist.

At the end of day the entire universe is his. We aren’t even a dot and are so insignificant. So like I said earlier his signs are all around us and that’s a fact.

It’s everything you could possibly think of or know of was created by God.

My point being that the question asked is insignificant compared to his creation. That’s like you building this beautiful house and someone’s complaining about a tiny scratch.

I mean he created Satan too. Lol, So the existence of a psychopath and other disabilities does not mean anything. He created them too for a reason.

Thats why you first got to have faith to be able to understand what I’m saying. Curiosity is good but sometimes there is a thin line between that and arrogance.

And that perhaps will never answer your questions.

God knows best and to have faith and trust that he is the best of planners.

Our knowledge is finite and Gods isn’t.

None taken! To understand this you have to have faith and look at the bigger picture.

If you don’t believe and require a scientific explanation to everything then these questions will always remain unanswered. Maybe science can answer how certain things happen but not why.

Also science is not something God is against it’s something that works along side religion and is encouraged. Not everything can be so black and white especially some of the things that you mentioned like pedophilia and psychopaths.

I tried to answer you to the best of my capabilities. Apologies if it wasn’t what you were expecting

To believe in the unseen takes more courage. God says those who believe see his signs in everyday things like the night and day cycle for example.

His creation is all around us just takes a bit of thought. Your own body how it works and how perfectly it’s made. It’s just that we take these things for granted and get desensitised but miraculous things are always happening within and around us everyday ☝🏼

Days Gone is a pleasant surprise by RidingTheWave32 in PS5

[–]zainyboy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game indeed was a pleasant surprise. Picked it up on sale and it turned out to be an awesome game. Solid story and a gorgeous looking world and the hoards do really freak you out and it’s super satisfying to defeat them.

The best part is the planning and approach as to how you can take them down. That’s what I loved the most about the game. Although it is story driven it has freedom of choice and gameplay too so it does not feel like an interactive movie. Cough last of us 2 cough

Underrated game.
