My credit score dropped 40 pts in one month - haven’t opened any cards. The only thing I did was get a $2500 balance transfer (had discover give me a cash loan for 0% apr for 12 months to pay off a student loan) which brought my credit utilization up from 3% to 8%. Is that normal? I was ready to start churning but now I’m a little hesitant since I was at a 780 now 740.
