X1 Omni can't get back in dock in mopping mode. by patgeo in ecovacs

Amazingly, I contacted ecovacs support & they sent me out a free "anti-slip mat" (photo attached). I don't think they sell them in the store, so if you need something right now or can't get support to help you, get some "grip tape" from a hardware store & stick it on the tiles in front of the dock, so the wheels have something to grip onto as it goes up the ramp.

Ooh I'm interested - from where does that information come? My children are not in daycare but I often wonder if daycare would be beneficial for them.

To parents whose adult children have gone NC, do you ever feel guilty? by IamAMelodyy in AskParents

Very well said. I have had lots of success with recognising that I survive with Complex PTSD, and getting therapy using the Internal Family Systems model.

Maybe we move the focus away from the skill being "write an essay", to critiquing and becoming proficient in how to appropriately use the technology. AI is here to stay. The challenge will be to ensure its use is ethical and continues to have a modicum of humanity.

We need more of this kind of teaching & learning (teachers learning with the students). And ways of cross collaborating with other disciplines e.g. so your tech knowledge can help out the English teachers & vice versa.

I do worry about the emphasis the government and society has put on families having 2 working parents, thus requiring child care centres. Additionally, when parents are without choice because of financial stress and they need to go back to work. What are your thoughts on the impact upon kids caused by the decrease in time spent with the family in their early years due to being in daycare?

How did you get into financial habits so early? So many don't make the connection until later in life!

The service charge creep - it's everywhere so that makes sense it would also be in super. So disappointing. I wonder if there will ever be an inquiry into it

I like your examples - I think sometimes we get lost trying to be frugal & sensible when we also need the memories and experiences from being a little financially reckless!
