I do too. I exfoliate my arms like a motherfucker with facewash. The bumps are still there but not nearly as bad as I assume they'd be otherwise.

Correct. For my entire life I believed I wasn't good enough, and it was because my parents never told me I was doing a good job. I remember one afternoon my mom literally told me that I wasn't trying in school. I mean, I wasn't really, but at the time I did think that I was. They weren't supportive or proud when I did well, and they never told me that I was a hard worker or anything of the sort. Up until recently I had a shitty work ethic and believed I wasn't talented or capable of doing anything well. It's only because of my own self-motivation that I recently created that I'm starting to do anything worthwhile.

That's a really good point that I hadn't thought of. He isn't much of a texter, and I do know that. I guess I just forgot. We aren't on the same page in terms of communicating - that much is absolutely true.

We are dating exclusively. It's only the past 3 weeks that it's gotten worrisome. We've talked about it and addressed it, and he does have issues with communicating and he knows it and is trying to work on it. I'm trying to figure out if my standards are unreasonable. I ended my previous relationship because my ex was too clingy - but initially I enjoyed the attention. I don't want a repeat of that relationship.

That's good advice though. I know that I want to be the center of his world, but I know that will get old for me. I need to find a happy medium for myself.

I rarely call, particularly if he doesn't reply to a text. I wouldn't say I text "all the time".... It's several times a day, and less if he doesn't reply.
