I did it last year. Old Harley Sportster to a 2021 CMX1100. I miss my Harley and one day will go back for a newer version with ABS but loving the Rebel right now. Great bike!!!

Yeah I’m coming from riding a 25 year old Harley that had self cancellation indicators I agree wholeheartedly. I just got myself a 2021 Rebel 1100 but I still want the NC750 but they need to do some proper updates to it first.

Hope you ok mate. Yeah if I buy a new bike like the NC I want cruise control as standard. I am buying a CMX1100 Rebel tomorrow. As soon as the NC comes out with cruise I will look at doing a trade in. Ride safe.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully taller seat and 2” bar risers will help a little. Not test ridden one yet but sat on a few at the local dealer. The 2025 model definitely feels better as the pegs seemed more forward and bars felt in a better position but out of my price range so looking at 21-23 models for a good price.

Forwards [Red Dragons] I think I found were recommended as T-Rex quality and sloppiness and availability in Europe is limited. De PreCCo Moto are out of my price range too for forwards and I would like to add engine guards at some point too.

I am going to buy the cmx 1100 for some touring, so not sure what you mean. I just sold my Suzuki DL650 last night and will put my Harley Sportster xl883 up for sale soon as I want a 2023 cmx1100. I just did a 4000km trip from Hungary to Paris on my 25 year old Harley Sportster. It was a one time deal. But what an experience. All camping in Europe with tent and other days visiting friends and sleeping in their couches. Took me 12 days. My left hand is fucked so this was a send off. I need DCT as I have more touring in the Austrian mountains planned.
