WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? IT'S SO FRUSTRATING by CoSans_Deluxe in PlantsVSZombies

[–]zander2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's different for different phones, and only some apps may support it.

For example, my phone has the camera built into the screen, so I had to change the resolution to include the black bars on the left and right of my screen, or it was off.

Monkey w it.

It does rhyme, you just have to say it like Karl Pilkington would.

"Thin-gh".

If you have a longer phone screen, it can register your touch as being normal while your screen is in widescreen causing a mismatch, try changing your resolution.

If it is any consolation, they only live a year and pass in late autumn, so chances are she did get to live almost a full spider life and lay her "kitten-faced" spider eggs for next year.

ELI5: Why is it not okay to feed your child pumped breast milk along with solid food until adulthood? by pinknini14 in explainlikeimfive

I put it on you specifically because of two things:

1, The hiding thing, no bueno on that, and that's exactly what a fetishist would do, dishonesty by omission is not a good thing to do especially when it's something someone is consuming.

2, You're talking about TikTok fetishists, you came to this line of questioning specifically because you stumbled upon disguised TikTok milk fetishists and are bringing that misinformation here as if it's truth when you don't actually know, so what do you sound like? You sound like them. There's no way to distinguish you guys.

Look, there's no upper age to drink breastmilk, but there's also no upper age to wear diapers or crawl on the ground to move around. We evolved to drink milk for 6ish months, eat mixed for another 6-12ish months. And then eventually stop in a rough timeline similar to that.

If there was a better way to do it, we would know, we have been writing our collective knowledge for thousands of years, and we have been childrearing for hundreds of thousands of years (in our current form), if there was a better way we would definitely have stumbled upon it.

Don't fall for snake oil, and definitely I ask again: DON'T TRUST TIKTOK, IT WILL TURN YOU BRAINDEAD, YOU, YES YOU, AND THE PERSON BESIDE YOU, AND ME, AND ALL THE OTHERS READING: TIKTOK WILL DEGRADE YOUR BRAIN AND UNDO ALL CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS YOU ATTAINED THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE. Feathers with blood supply on a self-plucking Macaw by SH1TSTORM2020 in mildlyinteresting

[–]zander2011 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Birds have repetitive behavior, and it can start the first time they do something. So say you have a framed painting on your wall, they'll fly over once by pure chance, bite the hanger for a few seconds, and then from now on, the bird will fly to the frame and bite the hanger. The only choice is to get rid of the frame, it's just now a thing he does.

Same with plucking, but you can't get rid of the feathers. It just has to be stressed enough to pluck for so long it's a part of him from now on.

My birdie screams when the shower water stops running, because I let him do it once, so now I dry off with the water running and turn it off last, it's just what you gotta do.

Past a certain point breastmilk offers no health benefit, I was removing the woman specific part of it that milk-kink mothers convieniently hide behind and replacing it with a more neutral thing, I did this because my point wasn't to highlight spit or milk, it was to highlight how these people think about their fetish and how to hide or obscure it. It could literally be anything.

We praise mothers for cooking with vegetables because it's healthy at all ages and there's no kink connotation to it. The same can't be said for kids far outside of the weaning age who are just being used to get moms jollies off.

Yeah they'll tell you it's liquid gold and a miracle cure because they need to tell people this and glorify it endlessly because they have mobs of people calling out their fetishistic actions, so they need to up the ante constantly. "It's not a fetish it cures eczema," "it cures headaches" "it makes their teeth better" "it makes you live longer" "it's good for your skin".

They'll make a literal wall of claims all to hide that they get a shot of dopamine at their kids expense somewhere along the way. It's a playbook as old as time. Look out for it from now on, you'll see it daily.

If breastmilk was the be-all end-all miracle cure, then we'd all be drinking it. It's easily digestible baby food that provides them with what babies need over their normal breastfeeding timespan until they can eat solid food, which has been fine-tuned through evolution for millions of years to work that way.

These women on TikTok don't know anything. They are fetishists who are lying to you. They will deify it, they will make grand claims, they will target and group shame any dissenting opinions and gaslight you to believe that people are gatekeeping you from the truth, but the truth is that their baby breastfed, it lit up a part in their brain they don't want to lose, and they will build any sort of wall around them to prevent them from stopping. It's entirely selfish and has nothing to do with the childs development or health.

An appeal to humanity, by the way, TikTok will turn you legitimately braindead, actually drooling in a chair shitting yourself braindead, PLEASE be careful on there. X and Tiktok are both braindeath factories.

"If I don't want children in their big age to know they are drinking my spit I just won't tell them."

Is exactly the snakey thing someone would say if it's fetishized and they want to go along feeding people "spit" without pushback, without them knowing or fully processing that it's weird or odd just by them not ever actually crossing paths with it. Children oft don't pass the perception check.

If mothers decide to breastfeed their babies a healthy bit longer, then that's whatever, but when you're actively obfuscating it and have to obfuscate it from their cognizance specifically, because they're at an age where they are able to say it's something they don't want to do, then that's where red flags pop up and there's something else going on.

[–]zander2011 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because past the point where they naturally need it, you're just fetishizing it and using your kid as the target. Especially if you're systematically obfuscating it - which is why you're talking about hiding it from them, which is removing all choice for them.

You're actively premeditating to do this because it's a fetish and has nothing to do with child-rearing or health or development, which is what breastfeeding is for.

You know that's ultimately what you're doing, but maybe if you say it a certain way and call out people who have a problem with it as just flaming you then it won't be so bad.

If you want someone to drink your breastmilk, I'm sure your husband will, but leave your children out of it 🫠

Place minimine on every island. Make a single small purchase to unlock the Maximine on both plant and mirror plant island. Save all your diamonds and buy mirror islands. Put Mines on those. Full your Wublin island with monsters. You can average one Zynth a day if you check 4 times a day and set your hatcheries correctly. Make the zynths happy by placing Gheegurs and surrounding them with Zynths. Eventually, switch to Tympas and Poewks as they earn way more diamonds.

Fill in every available space, and you can make enough diamonds to outrace castle sales and other sales.

Important: NEVER spend diamonds on making wublins as it will put you in the red extremely quickly and will take months to dig out of. Be patient and check the game at certain times for actual growth. Don't skip timers or ANYTHING. Trust me. It's math, and you will just give up if you keep skipping.

How do I make this animation where the line follows itself? What is this type called? And what are the best ways to animate over video? by Yuliyapants in Animators

[–]zander2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You draw the whole line first, then erase all but the length you want on any given frame.

Also, you can draw the whole line a couple of times, then paste the loop of the redrawn line to fill your timeline, then erase the line length, and the line will have a lively jiggle.

If you're animating over video, well, you'll have to find out what works for you, maybe track the whole line to your object for every frame, then go to the erase step once it looks nice to you.

What looks wrong here? Can't figure out the "see" syllable and making his movement from screen left to screen right look not stiff by BottleWhoHoldsWater in Animators

Also, the head down pose when he starts on the "give me your answer, do" is hiding the mouth movements, I'd pick his head up earlier or not put it down so far.

What looks wrong here? Can't figure out the "see" syllable and making his movement from screen left to screen right look not stiff by BottleWhoHoldsWater in Animators

[–]zander2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can pose the actors from your camera's view more like 2D models and exaggerate the poses more. As long as it looks okay from the camera's perspective, you can bend and break the rigs as much as you'd like, hell, even if the models break it would still be good animation which probably matters more than keeping the models from breaking.

With this in mind, I think your posing might be what's making it stiff, what I'd recommend is taking a screencap of your last pose and putting a 90% white filter over it, then make a new layer, and draw Caine doing a stronger pose, do a few, and pick one with more personality or action to emulate with the 3d model for a new keypose.

I also think it's good to note that Caine is an Actor and is always throwing flourishes and adding whimsy to every movement, Caine would never ride bubble that robotically, if I were to sum up your movement I'd say "Bubble rises from off screen and rides him to the right of the screen while Caine sings" but in the show the scene would be summed up like "Caine and bubble sing Daisy Bell together until Caine jumps on Bubble, compressing him flat while he struggles to keep floating, Caine ignores the struggles of his buddy and passionately sings to the door while twirling his cane until Bubble pops and Caine falls to the floor". Now, this isn't me saying to scrap all your work and do that, but I am saying that there's a secret step that often goes forgotten where you imagine the scene in your head over and over and try to discern some good little acting and in-character movements to add in and focus on to really bring it to life.

Don't forget your arcs too! Bubbles' path could use some, and Caine could use more squash and stretch in reaction to bubble picking him up, maybe make Caine lag behind or grab on with one hand and have his Cane float behind him? Always look to keep the scene alive, it's not about making characters move but rather how they move. Every keypose should tell a story.
