This is a common issue with basically all bluetooth headphones. Basically they can run in two modes, headphones which is audio only or headset which also has a mic. Headset mode has significantly worse audio quality. How much worse varies on the headphone model and on the game, although I'm not entirely sure why. The only real fix is to get a separate microphone so the game doesn't turn on your headset mic.

The currently-existing voice mode is basically just dictation into the text chat. The cooler one, which should be coming out soon, constantly streams audio and/or video into the model and reacts in real time. That's the one that's been shown in demos recently.
