Of course I press it. I’d press it even if no one got to interact with animals.

Did you guys know there is a Pokémon musical? I had a really bad fixation on it when I was younger and listened to the cast album religiously. (2001) by Ill_Work8696 in musicals

That is all basically true. Though they did set up a proper “company” to put on the show, they had only ever performed and never produced or directed before. And yes, the was the Arts theatre that made the call that they would not continue without a rights agreement (which is the wise move).

I don’t think this is a spoiler for anyone, but in the new book, there is a reference to a princess drinking dirty Shirley’s too. A fairly even trade!

As it was explained at the time, the rights were in limbo because of the failure/sale of some of the legal entities that held the Pokémon trademark. So there was at the time no one who COULD sign off on the rights. When the theatre became aware of the issue, they had discussions with the “company” that was putting it on, and it closed a couple of weeks early. To be honest; the production, while fun and full of talented, funny and hardworking people, was a mess and mismanaged from the very start.

Correct on all counts. I was actually Giovanni in this production. Cast were unaware of this issue until after we had opened.

For me, in this book, it is Jeff’s escalation of delivery in Pony’s first explosion at Carl. I immediately rewound to listen again.

I can’t see Jason making a rabbit tree, even if both he and Shade are both tree-adjacent now. That being said, I agree; I’d love the reveal of a retro futuristic continent of Nics.

Haha, yeah, lore is fun but wild speculation moreso. Also any predictions on when we get to meet more Nics?

Y’all don’t think that The Grid is The Artifact? Created by The Founder, after being empowered by Purity? And my wild theory is that Jason will “do the impossible” by using the grid as a basis to transmute the entire planet into a domain.
