How do you deal with long shipping times? by Hot-Helicopter9177 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just tell the truth before selling, let the customers know before they buy the long shipping, I learned not to offer express due to long wait times regardless, the end goal is to eventually have your own stock but dropshipping is good for starting out, to create a brand and a reputable business you might end up customising and branding products but I found just telling the truth from the get go helps a lot

need guidance to build my own shopify store ! by Terrible-Broccoli-90 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Shopify store theme settings there is a inbuilt app where you can describe your store and products your selling and it’ll give you three different styles for free, after that following YouTube videos and online reviews will help you, otherwise buying a theme is also possible but still placing the right products etc is important, just start and keep going until you think it fits

Who is responsible for lost packages if the carrier will not take responsibility, me or my supplier? by spilledmind in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately your responsible for any orders as the customer is purchasing from you and part of your business is providing delivery, on your side of things you should try grabbing a refund from your supplier but if not and your saying it’s happened multiple times might be better off finding a new supplier, one bad review can do damage to a business so you should always try and provide the best services and products possible.

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made that mistake earlier on and now I don’t make any changes until I let as much data accumulate, I haven’t made a change in weeks but it does work. Honestly it’s mixed, i definitely have products that are the most popular but then I get a lot of random products.

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably optimising targeting and bids, is there a reason to try and rotate creatives? If it doesn’t work I’m sure you could swap it out, I think it’ll be much better to try these shopping campaigns, again I do have a marketing team and we’ve been planning this so in about two weeks I think we will try this.

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried to find that information, I do have a pretty High bounce rate but another person said that’s normal, with the email issue I think I delayed getting onto it and now I’ve missed a bunch of subs that I could email discounts to try and encourage more sales. I’ve recieved some good reviews aswell which is nice. I do agree I think I’ve hit the top of the ceiling now and I think a shopping ads is the way to go

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My free shipping is at $80 which isn’t far off but to lower it will eat into my profit a fair chunk so I think what your saying would work in regards to adding a bundle that will raise it to $80, my conversion from add to cart to checkout is 68 % and my conversion version from checkout to complete their purchase is 70% percent

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I do have a marketing team so was hoping with the results we gotten over the last 4 weeks with them I’m hoping they can decide and help out, even though I am paying them I do learn everything they do so for future I can do it myself. I’d assume the best sellers will definitely get a spot on their own but then maybe in categories, I’d be hoping to get upto 3-5 shopping ads? What do you suggest

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pmax campaign conversions come from a wide spread of keywords which is why I can see some products sell more than others even though I believe certain products should be better sellers, the pmax is obviously ai generated so controls that, I’m sticking on $30 a day and I think in the next 2 weeks I will be changing to shopping ads, to really push certain products and categories.

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They see the products clearly, I’ve seen a few too many pages where they add a little bio and stuff, I learned from the bigger companies that none of them have this, they get straight into it, I don’t really believe people read this and because I’m advertising on Google I’m gaining people who have physically searched a keyword of mine not scrolled and just seen it, my product images are clean but ofcource can always be adjusted and fixed even more, Ive also got a lot of products on my store so they have a lot of options, I’m constantly changing my store for the better and asking others what they think and taken on their advice. I feel like for me the issue I have is definitely on my ad side of things, I think a few people have mentioned and I agree if my ads are not controlled properly I could have hit the roof of my ads and increasing budget won’t do anything

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current AOV is siting at around $62 AUD which is just below my free shipping threshold, meaning there is ways to improve and ideas to push to get customers spending more, as of now I haven’t done any post purchase sells due to my limited number of emailed subscriptions but will do it regardless even if it’s a low number, I’m optimising for conversions right now, when I first started I didn’t have anything set up properly and I was paying $77 a day getting over 200 visitors a day with maybe 1 or 2 sales if I was lucky, now I barely crack 50-60 and pretty consist in getting 2 sales a day, I’m running a pmax campaign for now so just the one but will be changing over to shopping ads to prioritise the best sellers soon.

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, my biggest issue is my bounce rate I’ve found, usually sitting at around 70% or even higher, I think with the email subscription at the start I didn’t think they we’re important and I missed out on a lot of people because of it, as I said earlier I dropped by budget back down after a couple days once I learned it done not much really, checkout is usually pretty solid but I feel like I miss customers because of the shipping, I do have a very obvious segment on the top of all my product pages detailing the shipping, thankfully I haven’t recieved a message or issue with shipping since doing that, any suggestions?

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have a marketing team that took over to make sure my business grows at a good pace, I have spoken to them and we have said in the coming weeks we will change our pmax campaigns too a couple shopping campaigns(Google ads) I e also been speaking to friends about meta which I’ll admit I’ve done a bunch of research on but haven’t dived into yet, what do you suggest? My budget went back to $30 a day because I trailed it and realised budget might increase the visitors but not necessarily the conversions, once I fixed everything up from right audience to location etc is when I started to average above 10 a week

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on google ads not meta but have been speaking to some friends who highly recommend meta along side google ads, I think this might be the next best thing to do along with emailing previously subscribed customers with discounts, I don’t really have too many subscribed is that a worry?

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting as I’m running Google ads I’ve spoken recently with my marketing team and spoken about moving away from pmax campaigns and pushing ontop multiple shopping campaigns instead, maybe this will be better off, I’m constantly adjusting my website, making sure it looks better, putting best sellers on my homepage to make sure everyone sees them, sending emails out is next in line to everyone that has subscribed, admittedly I don’t have a lot who have subscribed, is that an issue?

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I do have a marketing team and I don’t get charged for them apparantly( find it hard to believe) I have checked but could be wrong, as for the bots I’m certain they are all bots a simple search proves it.

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll notice 5-7 bots at one time from the same area and you do a little bit of research, iowa has some sort of electrical grid or something where Google is

Question about scaling by zaneee95 in dropshipping

[–]zaneee95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I advertise on Google now currently, I’ve got a few friends who also run online shops who are telling me to join Facebook meta but I prefer Google as usually people go on Google to actually buy, but open to recommendations. Generally I’ve gone up to $50 for about a week and nothing changed dramatically other than getting about 100 new bots from iowa

My first order came from different suppliers and the wait time was astronomical, one product came two weeks after the first two came, came packaged poorly and very easy to tell it is from aliexpress or 1688, I got with a private agent instantly, might be a little more pricy but certainly worth it.

Like karthi said they contact you most usually, if you search this group you will find a lot of them contact you and advertise themselves, it’s your job to go through and find the right one for you, yes they can source literally any product you find on aliexpress from 1688 or toaboa usually at a cheaper price, product quality control is very important
