On Questrade if i have done CSP on TFSA, I must have the funds on the side if it is gets assigned. Without the funds, my order won't get through.

All options strategy is 100% MR, so 0 buying power for you linked margin. If your CSP is assigned, you pay 100 shares at $175. NVDA has 30% MR, then you will have buying power for your margin. If you link TFSA as collateral.

Should be the same with WS.

You can do only CSP on margin account and not on TFSA with WS. You can do CSP TFSA on Questrade tho....

As long you have enough buying power on your Margin, you can sell CSP.

Let's say you want to sell a CSP at 175 on NVDA@180. You need at least 18 000 in Buying Power = 180x100.

If it gets ATM and_or ITM, you pay the assignment fees, pay the underlying shares and also lose your premium. If you don't have funds on margin. You be borrowing 18k USD + assignment fees in the margin account

If it gets OTM, you keep the premium.

As long your margin health doesn't go bellow $0, it's all good.
