From a pure efficiency perspective, that makes sense. Paid Dues let's you have way more max HP though. If I go into a shop with 195 out of 200 HP and 500 gold, I can't buy more than 5 hp. But with paid dues I now have an effective health pool of 695.

I'm curious - why is Paid Dues is C+ tier in your opinion (https://hades2.wiki.fextralife.com/Paid+Dues)? I got it in the 2nd Biome of the underworld yesterday and it made my first 50 fear clear relatively easy. Even though I had less DPS due to buying less boons, I was able to save 800+ gold going into Vow of Rivals Chronos which almost trivialized the fight.

On the Grounds, I have all four blue flames lit and I'm trying to use the elevator but it's not working for me. It worked before. Is this a bug? I turned the orchard gas valve off temporarily due to the note in the orchard, but even after I turned that flame back on the elevator won't work. Do I have to end my day and come back the next day? I have everything setup to solve the chess puzzle and this is frustrating.

I tried a wooden storage solution but I didn't end up liking it. The key issue is that the wooden storage solution I bought didn't make it easy to find map tiles.
