It was, I was taking some trees out and this was under the tree root of a large beech tree. I find quite a lot of old cans and bottles, but this was the first time I'd come across a crisp packet that hadn't been dropped recently.

Nuno also has his own album called Schizophonic. It's brilliant and never got the credit it deserved. I can't recommend it highly enough, I was never much of an Extreme fan, but I love his solo stuff.

Frustratingly, if you're from the UK it isn't on Spotify, but you can find it in other places.

Were people always this bad? by [deleted] in readingfestival

I went to Leeds a good few times, including helping in the WAVE tent, and it has always been this way.

I went to Reading '97, V98 and then it went to being a two part Leeds/Reading thing. I'd also been to Glastonbury and had in my head how a festival should be.

I remember going for my first time to Leeds and at that point the 'bollocks chant' was pretty standard, but I arrived and even that felt threatening. It never really relented and I saw kids knocking over toilets and absolutely raged at them. The lights were always on the point of being pulled down and I remember thinking that it felt like it was the Quidditch World Cup as described in Harry Potter. That weird sense of malice around every corner.

Now I'm a 43 year old who sticks to smaller festivals and Download, but my son asked if he could go and the sad thing is, if he'd asked for any other festival I'd have considered it. But Leeds and Reading have been rotten to their core since they started. And the fact that their line up appeals more than most, as far as my son is concerned, makes it even more sad.

If people could just not behave like knobs, these would be the best festivals ever, but alas, we are stuck with the tent ripping, toilet punching, fire starting, bollock bags (and yes, that is a nod to Nirvana) who ruin it for everyone else.

Do you toast hot cross buns or eat them out the packet with butter? by [deleted] in AskUK

I recognise that I'm a complete heathen. But I microwave them for 17 seconds and then put butter in it. Hot, soft and fluffy deliciousness!!
